Ever wonder where the heck your new villager came from (assuming it wasn't game generated)?
Villager trading in AC:CF is a lot more involved and random than it was in WW. WiiConnect24 allows villagers to be traded between towns even if the two players have never actually wifi'd with each other. Its pretty common to get a villager from a town that you have NEVER even heard of, much less visited.
In fact, I have had 5 villagers move into my town from other towns and only 1 of those times have I had any idea of who they came from.
This is a place for you to post when you have RECEIVED a villager from another town and you don't recognize the town name where they came from.
Please only post the villager's name and the name of the town they say they have moved fromr. Others can then come to this thread to see if anyone they recently had leave their town has been "found" by another ACCer. If you recognize a villager from your town, please post here to "claim" them so we can know who they used to live with.
DO NOT post here when you have a villager leave, as many villagers do not actually end up in another town. Only post here when you want to figure out where one of your new townies originated from.

This thread has the potential to be a little crazy as it is, PLEASE ONLY POST when you have received a neighbor from another town OR if you know someone that a neighbor posted here might have come from. If you want to talk to someone about a specific neighbor, PLEASE take it to a PT.
Everything besides the following will be removed as spam:
1. Details on a new neighbor you recieved from another town
2. Information about WHERE a neighbor posted here might have come from.

If a neighbor is from a different town they will tell you the first time you talk to them the name of the town they moved from. They will also generally be wearing a custom pattern as a shirt and might have a different catchphrase than they do by default. They will usually mention the name of the town they came from in later conversations as well as "sing" the town tune from their old town.
Occasionally a neighbor will say they came from a town that they "don't want to talk about" and will refuse to tell you a town name. When that happens, its actually just a game generated villager and not one from another town.
