Many people are asking for certain non-tradable items on the Trading Board.  Please do not ask for these items, since the only way you can get them are by earning them, or with a uni-code (which is a no-no on ACC).  If you need help about how to get these items in Animal Crossing, ask for help on the the AC Game Board.  Any threads on the Trading Board asking for non-tradable items will be locked.

Non-tradable items include items you get from:
• Tortimer
• Gullliver
• Wendell
• Gracie
• Saharah
• Jack
• Jingle
• Snowman
• Franklin

As well as:
• fossils
• fish
• insects
• gyroids
• bells
• turnips
• pitfalls

You can search the Items Section of the site to see if an item is tradable.  If it does not have a price, it is not tradable.  Also, you cannot add non-tradable items to your Wish List.  Also, any items that say "Not for sale" in your Nook catalog, you cannot trade these.

Redd's items are most likely tradeable because you can repurchase the items in your catalog.

Yeah, I think you guys are right.  I've removed Redd from the untradable list.  Anybody correct me if this is wrong (there's a chance some of his items are, and some aren't tradable).

Enter in the site, then, after a few minutes(you may browse the site while this)a window will apear saying "flash detected", then, follow the instructions that will appear!

What about the Mario items and Mario Bros.

Yeah, I've never heard of the Mario items and the Mario Bros until I came here!? How do you get them anyway?

Some of the codes for mario items are given away by Nintendo Power's website.  They are official nintendo codes and when you get your item in the game it says "your gift from nintendo power has arrived."

You're right about Redd - all of his items are definately tradeable.  Any NES games from Animal-Crossing.com are definately not tradeable.  And the Mario Furniture is definately not tradeable.

I would also add to this list an exception...  the models.  Some are tradeable, some are not.  For example, Tortimer gives you a flower model on Groundhog Day, as well as the Tree Model and Pink Tree Model on other special days, but they are all tradeable.

Flower is right, there are some models that are and arent tradeable. You may want to clear that up somehow.

Also, items you get in the Igloo arent tradeable. That includes the snowy tree model. Either are island-only items, which includes Wario's Woods and Baseball. Also, *SPOILERS*:the items you get from the campers in the summer are probably not tradeable. I 'd just thought I'd clear that up.

Does anyone know where i might find a list of the official published codes. Im in the UK so was never able to get the ones from Nintendo Power and didnt know about this awesome game till it had been around for a while so i think i missed some.

Now with the fossils, when you get an extra fossil the owl says he wishes he had bells so he could buy it from me and in the official animal  crossing book it says to give them to friends.  I know you can't buy them from Tom Nook after you sell them, but I have over 20 cleaned fossils that I have in my rooms and laying on the ground because I don't want to sell them.  My point it we should be able to give them to someone especially if the official guide says so.

Well, it's not our rule, it's not possible. Try to trade one and you'll see what I mean.

I think the guide meant that you can go to other village and drop one off to a friend.

You cannot donnate to another village, though.

So you can't trade alhoa shirts, no wonder there was no demand. Uh can you have more than one of the same item in your trades because I was hoping on getting a ton of clothes and trade them like a store except taking other small tradeable items for them not bells and whats not.

There are cheat devices that you can buy to get them. I don't know any other ways.
