Tired of the same ol’ shoes?

Needing to accessorize your outfit in a way that makes YOU stand out from the crowd? Then look no further then this guide, as you can put the “clip clop” back in to your clogs!

First, you will need to find Kicks, a cockney skunk that is willing to shine your shoes for a mere 500 bells!

<img src="http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc208/BargainBob22/Kicks3.jpg" width="343" height="250">

He is found 9 AM - 9 PM, on fair weathered/sunny days/cloudy days, between the Auction House and Shampoodle. As well, he only shines them once a day. If Kicks doesn't change your shoes, because they already match, there is no charge.

When you talk to Kicks, the first choice is "Colours" this option will take into account the colours of your clothes and hair and the majority colour determines the colour of your shoes. More importance seems to be placed on hats and hair color, although shirts and accessories are considered too. There are so many different combinations and so it can be left to the imagination to figure what shoe colour is the right one for you!

The second choice you have is “Match my Style”. This is when Kicks examines your appearance and shines your shoes to the style that fits in! The possibilities of type of shoe are endless and so far unpredictable. For example a character could be wearing the Green Zap suit and result in getting red shoes! This could be because the Zap suit is “Striking”.

Here are the styles and their corresponding shoe type:
Boy's Shoes:
Cool: Red
Cute: Pink
Fancy: Green
Funky: Blue
Fresh: White
Gaudy: Orange
Refined: Black
Strange: Purple
Striking: Yellow
Subtle: Brown

Girls' Shoes:
Cool: Blue
Cute: Pink
Fancy: White
Fresh: Green
Funky: Red
Gaudy: Yellow
Refined: Purple
Strange: Black
Striking: Orange
Subtle: Brown

As with Shampoodle, the same applies to Kicks. After a couple of shoe shines, Kicks will ask you if you want your shoes to be Masculine or Feminine. This means that if you're a boy you can get different colour shoes that you could only get if you were a girl character before. And vise versa if you're a girl.

<img src="http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc208/BargainBob22/Kicks2.jpg" width="343" height="250">

Now you're ready to show off your newly shined shoes to all of your friends!

If you don't log in to a certain character for a long period of time, you'll get bed hair. It will be the same color as the previous color you had. The only way to remove bed hair is to have your hair restyled at Shampoodle's in the City.

Opposite Gender Hairstyles

<img src="http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m112/Titandwedebil/RUU_0368.jpg">

As a male, you can get female hairstyles and vice versa. To get hairstyles of the opposite gender, just have every hairstyle of your gender at least once. Upon getting the last style of your own gender go back to Harriet the next day. When you sit in the chair, she will mention how good your character would look with a style of the opposite gender. Once she comments how good you would look with a hairstyle of the opposite gender, the question path is as follows:

A) "Cut it out!" Prompts you back to the style questions for your own gender.
B) "R-really?!" Prompts you to the question set for the opposite gender.

AC:CF Emotions Guide
Made by aldericon

Ever wanted to be able to show your emotions without having to directly say them? Thanks to Dr. Shrunk and Frillard, you can!

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/DrSkunk.jpg">

To get an emotion, go to the Marquee in the City, located between the ABD Machine and HRQ Headquarters. Inside, you can buy a ticket to go see a particular show (every week the shows change). Four different emotions are shown; pick one. The person behind the counter will ask for 800 bells. Pay, and you go inside the theater!

After entering the theater, you might see some other characters seating in the four rows. Feel free to talk to them before or after the show for a random chat. Take a seat in the front row, and the show will begin!

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/Frillard.jpg" >

Dr. Shrunk (who was in AC:WW) or Frillard could be the one doing the show. Frillard appears randomly, and he can teach emotions which Dr Shrunk can't. After doing a short performance using the emotion, you get the emotion added to your character. Note: You can only have 4 emotions to use at a time. If you have 4 emotions, you must erase a previous emotion to learn a new one.

Now, there is one special emotion that neither Dr. Skunk nor Frillard can teach, and it's called "Waving". It is not actually a emotion like the others, but it is done my pressing "A" on the Wiimote while you are at a certain distance from your neighbor and while you have your "hand" pointer over them. Then, your character will raise its arm and wave to the neighbor, who will wave back or bow at you.

After you wave your neighbor will just stare at you for a moment, waiting for you to talk to them if you intend to. If at first it does not work, try relocating yourself to a new angle or change the distance between you and your neighbor. Note: Waving twice to the same neighbor at the same moment does not work; you must go away and then come back to wave again.

AC:CF Redd's exclusives guide
Made by Titandwedebil

Located on the far west end of the city, you'll find in the small alley alongside a pile of boxes Redds shop. Redd is the name of the fox who runs it, and who sells the items inside. You'll notice you can't get in right away, that's because to get into Redds, you'll need the invitation

The invitation is the only way to get in, you can get it in two ways.
You'll need to speak with your villagers in town. If one of them mentions it, say that you'd like the invitation; the next day, you'll have it in the mail from that villager, which you can use to get in. (It must be in your letters or else Redd wont see it).
If you have friends registered in your game, they can send you an invite over WiiConnect24. Keep the letter on your character and Redd will let you in.

<img src="http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m112/Titandwedebil/RUU_0034.jpg">

Once in, you'll need to pay 3,000 bells as a members fee, otherwise, you won't be able to buy anything.
Every time you buy something from Redd, he will give you an invite to send to someone else. If you don't want to keep receiving them, you can fill up your pockets (use 100 bells in each slot) to stop him giving you one

What's special about Redd's shop (Other than the abnormally high prices) is that sometimes, he'll carry exclusive items, only obtainable from him. The list below is all of his exclusives, if you happen to see any of these next time you're there, you'll know its a good investment.

Happy Room Academy (HRA) Guide
Made by starman32

<img src='http://i43.tinypic.com/29xxanq.jpg'>

HRA Introduction
The Happy Room Academy, or HRA for short, is an organization that rates and reviews your home and your villagers' home. To sign up for the HRA, go to the city and head into the building between the Marquee and GracieGrace. The building is open from 9am to 9pm. Talk to Lyle, the person who runs the HRA. He is depressed, so you might hear a long, boring speech about how he hates his job. If you choose to sign up, you will receive a letter in the mail every Sunday. The letter will say how many points your home is worth and the status of your home. This is the only time you can see the academy paper. Your attic and basement do not get included in the rating.

If you are connected to WiiConnect24, he evaluates all of the houses in town for every connected player, so now you have some online competition going on in the model room.

The Model Room
Walk in the back of the HRA HQ and you will find the model room. Lyle and the HRA hold a contest each week to see which player's town has the best looking room based on a certain idea. This idea can range from the furniture theme to the feug shui layout. (See ACC's Feug Shui guide for more details on that.) Whichever room wins gets to be on display in the HRA's model room.

If you enter the model room, you can press A on any item and it will tell you the name of that item. The model room can give you tips on decorating your home.

HRA Prizes
If you reach a certain amount of points, you can earn the following prizes:

<table border="1">
<tr><th>Points</th><th>Prize</th></tr><tr><td>70,000</td><td>House model</td></tr><tr><td>100,000</td><td>Wide-house model</td></tr><tr><td>150,000</td><td>Two-story model</td></tr></table>

How to Boost Your Score

Lucky Items
These items, called Lucky items, are worth 7,777 points. Here is a list of each lucky item and how to obtain it:

<table border="1"><tr><th>Name</th><th>How to Obtain</th></tr><tr><td>Arwing</td><td>Spotlight Item</td></tr><tr><td>Dracaena</td><td>Spotlight Item at Tom Nook's</td></tr><tr><td>Garden gnome</td><td>Spotlight Item at Tom Nook's</td></tr><tr><td>Ivory Piano</td><td>Spotlight Item at Tom Nook's</td></tr><tr><td>Jack-in-the-box</td><td>On Halloween, have Jack play 3 tricks on you</td</tr><tr><td>Lefty lucky cat</td><td>Buy from Redd</td></tr><tr><td>Lucky cat</td><td>Buy from Tom Nook</td></tr><tr><td>Lucky gold cat</td><td>Spotlight item at Tom Nook's</td></tr><tr><td>Master Sword</td><td>Spotlight Item at Tom Nook's</td></tr><tr><td>Music Box</td><td>Gift from Katie and Kaitlin</td></tr><tr><td>Piggy Bank</td><td>Deposit 10,000,000 bells into your ABD account</td></tr><tr><td>Raccoon figurine</td><td>Buy from Redd</td></tr><tr><td>Samauri Suit</td><td>Spotlight Item from Redd's</td></tr><tr><td>Treasure Chest</td><td>Spotlight Item at Tom Nook's</td></tr><tr><td>Triforce</td><td>Buy from Redd</td></tr><tr><td>Washer/dryer</td><td>Buy from Tom Nook</td></tr></table>

Furniture Series, Sets, and Themes
Another way to gain points is to complete the series, set, or theme. To gain even more points, you can have the matching flooring and wallpaper too.

• You earn 20,000 points for placing all 10 pieces of furniture in a room.
• You earn 25,000 points for placing all 10 pieces of furniture in a room, including the flooring and wallpaper.
• You earn 30,00 points for having the complete series, including the flooring and wallpaper.

Good luck with your home! If you follow this guide, I'm sure the HRA will praise you for your decorating skills!

AC:CF Town Charm Guide
Made by aldericon

In the City, if you go to the far right corner (just above Resetti's Surveillance Center), you'll find a shop run by Katrina. For 100 bells, she'll tell you your Weekly Fortune and/or your Monthly (Town) Charm.

Weekly Fortune

Ever seen those fortune cookies at Chinese Restaurants? Katrina's fortunes are remotely like this, except her's tend to come true. Note: You can only receive a fortune once per week, but it only effects the day you get the fortune. So, if you get a Tripping Fortune, it only lasts the day you get it from Katrina, and not the next day.

"Tripping Fortune": Your character will trip occasionally while running (which can get quite annoying).
"Popularity Fortune": When in town (or even over WiFi), it causes the villagers to take notice of you more often, so you can have more conversations with them.
"Money Fortune": When going around your town (or even over WiFi), this fortune will increase the bells that get shaken out of trees (anywhere from 100-300 bells).
"Gift Fortune": When in town (or even over WiFi), it causes the villagers to take notice of you more often, so you can have more conversations with them AND they will give you gifts during the conversation.
"Non-Fortune": This fortune will have no effect on you in any way, and is basically a random sentence or two about you, your surroundings, or your town.

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/KatrinaFortune.jpg">Original picture by BowserBasher

Note: These fortunes will not plague you if you visit a town using the DS Suitcase.

Monthly (Town) Charm

You can get a charm for your town once per month. With most of the charms that you can get from Katrina, only a visitor from another town can perform the charm and receive the "reward" from that certain charm (she will tell you if another person or you needs to do the charm). Note: The "reward" for the charm will take place the day after the charm is done. As well, villagers in your town may, in a conversation with you, tell you about a charm in a friend's town (only those you have on your friend code list). Remember, these charms can be done everyday for the "reward" to happen the next day, which can be useful for some charms.

NOTE: The charm can be any combination, shown below. For example, you may get the "plant flower seeds" for the "no wilted flowers" charm.

Charm: You must catch a (fish name here) in (your town name here).....a hidden charm that brings happiness out of tree.....
Reward: When shaking trees, you have more of a chance of furniture falling out.

Charm: You must catch a (bug name here) in (your town name here).....a hidden charm that brings forth opportunities for rare items.....

Charm: You must cut down just one tree in (your town name here).....a hidden charm that helps you obtain ancient rewards.....
Reward: More fossils (2 per day) will be found in your town.

Charm: Plant a red turnip seed somewhere in (your town name here).....a hidden charm that UNKNOWN.....
Reward: When in your own town, white turnip prices with rise.

Charm: You must find a clover in (your town name here).....a hidden charm that helps you receive the gyroids' blessings.....

Charm: You must send a thoughtful letter from the (your town name here) town hall.....a hidden charm that UNKNOWN.....
Reward: When using the Money Rock, the time that you have to get the bells out of the rock will increase.
