Perfect Town Guide
Made by cmh

I've begun trying to get my town perfect and figured I post up a guide. I am using the gridding method from AC:WW. Using 16 x 16 acres, AC:CF seems to use a 5 x 5 grid. This means that the entire town is composed of 6,400 spaces. 80 patterns across and 80 patterns down. The bottom acre extends into the ocean.

X = Pattern

You need between 12 and 16 trees with 4 flowers in each acre. Your results might vary but those numbers worked for me. You need to maintain a perfect town for 15 days to receive the golden watering can.

Note: I had one "trouble" acre that only took 10 trees for some reason. All other acres have between 12 and 16 trees.

Pelly: "Fantastic! [TOWN NAME] is in great shape right now! Yep, its pretty sweeeeet!"

Phyllis: "Well, isn't living here better than you expected? (...Or maybe not.)"

11/20/2008 Update: I have between 12 and 14 trees per acre and still no perfect town. I could use a lot more flowers so this will take longer since Nook's only has one bag of seeds per day.

Note: I have found one acre where I cannot add any more than 9 trees. Adding in any more I get the too many trees message.

11/28/2008: I reached perfect status with my town on November 26th. I can confirm that having between 12 and 16 trees per acre with 4 flowers in each works. The problem acre was the one that didn't take more than 9 trees. I tried planting a tree in a few different spots and found one that worked. It makes believe that there might be smaller acres or sub-acres within each acre. I can't confirm this but it seems a bit odd that I was able to move the tree within that acre and get a different result.

12/10/2008: I got my golden watering can today. It too 15 days to get it. I have updated the duration. Originally, I thought it takes 15 days and then you get your can on the 16th. It took exactly 15 days, including the first day I was told I had a perfect town.

AC:CF Face Guide
Made by aldericon and Nigel91

When you first make a new town, Rover asks you some questions that determines 1) your gender (girl/guy; female/male) and 2) your physical features (face/eyes/hair). Rover also asks you these if you are creating a new character for your already established town.

Gender Questions

The first three questions Rover asks will determine your name and gender. After asking for your name, he will then ask if your name is "Cool" or "Cute". If you answer "Cool," Rover will assume you are a boy and he will confirm this with the second question ("I know" or "Not a boy"). If you answer "Cute," Rover will assume you're a girl and will confirm this with the second question ("I know" or "Not a girl"). Girls rule!

Appearance Questions

The next three questions that Rover asks will determine the appearance of your face/eyes/hair.

Note: These are permanent so be sure to make the right face before creating your character! The hairstyle can be changed later by visiting Shampoodle in the City.

"A" indicates the top answer choice while "B" will be the bottom answer (i.e. AAA means top answers for all three questions while AAB means top answers for two questions and bottom answer for the last question.)

Optional Use of Mii Mask

When you visit Shampoodle in the City, you can ask for a Makeover where you can choose a Mii face to use. The first time you go to have a Mii Mask done, Harriet gives a chose picking of a Mii Mask to you for free. However, after that first time, you have to pay for a new Mii Mask. The Mii Mask is taken from the Miis' faces stored on your Wii, so you can be as creative as you want with your mask!

Note: The Wii Mask is stored in the Pattern Tab, and can be taken off and stored there when not in use, as shown above. You can only have one Mii Mask per character at a time.

AC:CF Town Fund Guide
Made by aldericon

The town fund is found at the Town Hall. Say “Town Fund” to Pelly/Phyllis to access it in order to donate bells. If you donate enough money you get the following ‘prizes’. Note: Make sure to give the right amount in total all at once, or you may not get the 'prize'.

200,000 Bells: Bridge

You will need to speak to Pelly, in the town hall, the day after you have donated to vote for the location of the new bridge. A week later it will be built in your chosen place. If you have multiple characters, all of them will have the chance to vote for the position of the new bridge. Note: The chosen place is from a selection of places that Pelly will present to you, as you just can't post it anywhere.

400,000 Bells: Fountain

This amount is in addition to the 200,000 for the bridge. A week after you donate this amount a fountain will be built in your town. On the first day Tortimer will hang around in front of the fountain and will not allow you access to it. After the first day however, you can approach the fountain and throw in your axe. Serena, the goddess of the fountain will appear and, if you are lucky, you may be granted a gold or silver axe in return. If not, you will either get your normal axe returned or lose it altogether.

1,000,000 Bells: Lighthouse/Windmill

Again, this will take a week to arrive and will be placed somewhere along the beach in your town. Note: If you donate a further 1,000,000 bells you get the option to swap your windmill for a lighthouse or vice versa.

WARNING: Make sure not to donate over the amount that you are required! You will end up losing that money, as it will not carry over to the next landmark.

Do you get anything for saving bells in the bank?

10,000 bells = Shopping Card
100,000 bells = Box of Tissues
1,000,000 bells = Gold Shopping Card (same as regular, but can't be reordered if lost, and is gold)
10,000,000 bells = Piggy Bank
100,000,000 Bells: Green Feather
200,000,000 Bells: Blue Feather
300,000,000 Bells: Yellow Feather
400,000,000 Bells: Red Feather
500,000,000 Bells: Purple Feather
600,000,000 Bells: White Feather
700,000,000 Bells: Rainbow Feather
999,999,999 bells = ABD machine (Bell Point in AC:LGTTC)

These feathers have no purpose other than to look pretty in your hair.

AC:CF Tree Guide
Made by aldericon

Trees play a major, or minor, part in AC:CF, all depending on how you use them!

How to Make Orchards

Orchards look really nice in your town, and you won't have a bunch of scattered trees. You can either have them all representing one fruit (or bells), or just have them together randomly. Your choice!

1) First, make sure you have a big open area, with no houses, other trees, or empty space house signs.
2) Get any fruit (or bells) and in any amount (Recommended: 8+)
3) Then, as if the floor around you is a grid, dig holes like this:

Key:
X - Dig holes and plants trees
O - Empty space

XOXOXOXO
OOOOOOOO
OXOXOXOO
OOOOOOOO
XOXOXOXO

Note: You can go on as down and far as you like in this pattern.

4) Plant the fruit in the holes!
5) Wait for it to grow into a wonderful new orchard for your town!

How to Grow a Money Tree

Ever heard the saying "Money doesn't grow on trees"? Well, in AC:CF, it actually does! You can plant bells in the ground to make a Money Tree!

What you need:
Golden Shovel
Bells (amount varies)

First, dig a hole with your GOLDEN shovel and place any amount of bells in the hole. Once you have buried the bells just make sure the tree WILL NOT DIE for you will lose the bells you placed in the hole.

All trees provide x3 30,000 bell bags. The amount you bury does not effect the amount that will grow.

Useful Hints: Each bell deposit increases in percentage for living and growing into a Money Tree. For example, 1,000 bells planted has 1% chance of becoming a Money Tree, 10,000 bells planted has a 10% chance of becoming a Money Tree, etc. As well, try to make sure that you plant them where they can not only get water (like from a river; don't plant them too close to rivers though), but they have plenty of space (no trees too close) to grow as well.

You can bury 100 bells with the Golden Shovel to make a normal tree.(Like ones from Tom Nook) - Catlover341

If you have a lucky clover in your pocket when you shake trees, you have less of a chance of getting stung. - stellarosiecat

AC:CF Tanning Guide
Made by aldericon

Just like in real life, in AC:CF, you are able to get a tan, with varying degrees of dark colors!

How to Get a Tan

Tanning in AC:CF is much like tanning in the real world; simply go to the beach and bek in the sun for long time. Note: The tan will come in the next day, NOT immediately.

When you finally got a tan, it will go down a shade every day, unless you happen to be on the beach everyday. Then it will either stay the same shade or get darker. Note: Your tan will disappear every day a little bit if you haven't been walking on the beach that day and will also disappear slowly on rainy days.

You can get a tan from June 15th - September 15th. The game has to have a clear sky outside and it must be during daylight hours (8 AM - 5 PM). Note: The only thing that stops a tan is an umbrella.

The second option to get a tan is to use a Mii Mask from Shampoodle's. If your Mii Mask is in a dark color (you have to make it that way), you will automatically have a tan.

Tip: To know if you're actually tanning, make a Plain Pattern that is skin colored (Palette 10/16, below) and wear it as a shirt, in the sun. As you tan, you will start noticing your skin is becoming darker than the shirt, and it will become very noticeable after about 2-3 hours.

Removing a Tan

While it's quite easy to get a tan, it's much harder to get rid of a tan. To get back to your normal color, there are several ways:

1) Just don't play your AC:CF game and it will be gone within a few days
2) If you want to play and go outside, go out with an umbrella
3) Don't go out during daylight
4) Start the game and then just stay in your house
5) Time Traveling to the future (at least 3-4 days)

Note: All of these processes will take several days, and hats WILL NOT stop tans.

Recently discovered is if you select a Mii with a tan, your arms will change into that same color. You can find skin colors back in Palette 10/16 (from AC:CF):

AC:CF Tom Nook's Store Guide
Made by madaskueuchiha, Stephyton, prshack and aldericon

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, the only shop in town belongs to Tom Nook. When you first begin playing the game, Tom Nook's shop will start off as Nook's Cranny, a small shack with very few different items for sale each day. As time passes, Tom Nook will eventually use his profits to increase the size of his shop to hold more items.

Nook's shop has three upgrades after Nook's Cranny, giving Nook's store a total of 4 different sizes, each which different store hours and stock. After a certain amount of days has passed, when Nook has earned enough bells, he will close down the store for a day to renovate to the next store size.

Upgrades

Nook's Cranny
Open from 8 AM - 10 PM
*beginning shop*
<img src="http://i34.tinypic.com/1zlvt5u.jpg" width="600" height="321">

NookNGo
Open from 7 AM - 1 AM
*renovation of Nook's Cranny, at least 8 days after game is started, with at least 30,000 bells worth of purchases*
<img src="http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk187/madaskueuchiha/NooknGo.jpg" width="600" height="321">

NookWay
Open from 8 AM - 10 PM
*renovation of Nook 'n' Go, at least 15 days after renovation from Nook's Cranny, with at least 80,000 bells worth of purchases*
<img src="http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk187/madaskueuchiha/010.jpg" width="600" height="450">

Nookingtons
Open from 9 AM - 9 PM
*renovation of NookWay, at least 22 days after the renovation from Nook 'n' Go, with at least 150,000 bells worth of purchases*
<img src="http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk187/madaskueuchiha/RUU_0089.jpg" width="600" height="450">

In AC:GC and AC:WW, it was required for a player from another town to buy an item from Nook's store for it to be upgraded to Nookington's. In AC:CF, a player from another town doesn't have to buy an item from Nook for him to upgrade to Nookington's.

Below is a table showing the number of items in each renovation of Nook's stores.
<table style="text-align: center; margin-left: 33px; width: 600px;"border="1" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2"><tbody><tr><th>Store</th><th>Furniture</th><th>Tools</th><th>Flowers</th><th>Saplings</th><th>Flooring</th><th>Wallpaper</th><th>Stationary</th><th>Medicine</th><th>Paint Can</th></tr><th>Nook's Cranny</th><td>2</td><td>3</td><td>0</td><td>1</td><td>1</td><td>1</td><td>1</td><td>1</td><td>0</td></tr>
<tr><th>NooknGo</th><td>3</td><td>3</td><td>2</td><td>1</td><td>1</td><td>1</td><td>2</td><td>1</td><td>1</td></tr><tr><th>Nookway</th><td>5</td><td>4</td><td>4</td><td>2</td><td>2</td><td>2</td><td>4</td><td>1</td><td>1</td></tr><tr><th>Nookingtons</th><td>8</td><td>6</td><td>7</td><td>3</td><td>3</td><td>3</td><td>4</td><td>1</td><td>1</td></tr></tbody></table>

Downgrading

About a month after the upgrade to Nookington's, Nook will start to doubt his service. As each player leaves the shop, Nook will ask them what they look for in a store.

1) Saying "Variety" will make Tom Nook change the store into Nookington's.
2) Saying "Balance" will make Tom Nook change the store into NookWay.
3) Saying "Hours" will make Tom Nook change the store into Nook 'n' Go.
4) Saying "Nothing much" will result in no store change.

After a few days, Nook will think over the votes of each player and make his decision based on which answer received the most votes.

A) If you choose an option that has Nook change to a store other than the one you currently have, Nook will close down for a day to renovate, like normal.
B) If you choose an answer resulting in an change to a store size that you don't want, you will have to wait until next month for Nook to ask you again.

Nook’s Points

Tom is sure savvy at his retail profession, and he knows how to keep his customers coming back. With free stuff, of course!  For every 100 bells you spend on items at the shop, you earn 1 Nook point, or more on special days where you receive special bonus points! You even earn Visitor Points just for visiting the shop everyday! Step up to the green machine that appears in all of Nook’s shops to check out the progress of your points and find out what level your membership status is.

Catalog Tips & Hints

Each of your characters in City Folk have their own personal catalog in which they can buy items from conveniently. They are then shipped to your house within one day. Tom records every item that you’ve purchased from his shop, along with everything you’ve sold from him. To view your catalog, just speak with Nook at his shop.

There are also items that you cannot order from your catalog, even though you have had these items before. Here is a full list of AC:CF un-orderables (thanks to Squirrelzan for this list!)

AC: CF Feng Shui Guide
Made by cmh

Feng Shui is the belief that items and furniture can be arranged in your house to increase the flow of life energy. This is thought to bring good health and good luck. Animal Crossing has its own form of Feng Shui. In Animal Crossing you place Yellow furniture and items on the West (left) side, red items and furniture to the East (right) side and green items and furniture to the South (bottom). This is said to give higher scores when it comes to the Happy Room Academy (HRA).

West Side
<img src="http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p248/x_cmh_x/ACC/feng%20shui%20guide/yellow_west.jpg" border="0">

East Side

South Side
<img src="http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p248/x_cmh_x/ACC/feng%20shui%20guide/green_south.jpg" border="0">

Additionally there are "Lucky" items. These items can be placed anywhere. These items add 7,777 points to your HRA score. Although multiple copies of the same item are not cumulative. Meaning that you will only get 7,777 points even if you have two Arwings.

AC:CF Town Fountain Guide
Made by aldericon

When you add your fountain to your town (if you need to know how to get a fountain for you town, please go here), there is a special action that you can do. If you throw an axe (whether it be regular, silver or gold) into the fountain, Serena appears, and asks you a series of questions, resulting in several different possiblities. Note: You can still get a golden/silver axe if the axe they throw into the fountain is nearly broken (not known if the condition of the original axe affects this).

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/fountainfront.jpg"  width="600" height="321" width="600" height="321">

Serena tends to want to play games with others, so her first question, depending on the answer, can lead to more questions, until you finally lose your axe, get the axe back that you thrown in, or get the new Silver Axe or Golden Axe.

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/serena.jpg" width="600" height="321">

1a) Serena: What kind of axe did you throw in?
%%Gold Axe --> Takes your axe or may return your axe.
%%Silver Axe --> Takes your axe.
%%Normal Axe --> May return or take your axe or continue with questions 1b or 1c.
%%Nope, nothing --> Takes your axe.

2a) Serena: Don't you think I look completely different?
%%Big Change! --> May return axe or take your axe or continue with questions 2b. (Note: This option is said to work better)
%%Same as ever.--> May return axe or take your axe or continue with questions 2b.

3a) Serena: Do you really not like me or something?
%%Yeah! --> Prompts question 3b.
%%Of course not! --> Takes your axe.

1b) Serena: Did I seem goddessy?
%%Spot On (top) --> May return your axe or give Silver Axe, or continue with question 1c.
%%About 85% (top) --> Might give you Golden Axe or return axe.
%%No! (bottom) --> Gives you Silver Axe or takes your axe.

2b) Serena: What kind of axe do you want?
%%Gold Axe --> Prompts question 3c or returns axe or takes your axe.
%%Silver Axe --> Prompts question 4c or takes your axe.
%%Regular Axe --> Returns your axe or gives you a Silver Axe.
%%Nothing --> Returns axe or takes your axe.

3b) Serena: Did I do something to make you not like me?
%%Yeah, you did! --> Prompts question 2c.
%%Not really. --> Takes your axe.

1c) Serena: I do happen to have some silver axes lying around. Want one of those?
%%Yeah, gimme! --> Takes your axe.
%%Yes, please --> Takes axe or returns your axe or gives you a Silver Axe.
%%No, Thanks --> Takes your axe.

2c) Serena: How much do you not like me? (Range Bar)
%%A lot much! (top) --> Takes your axe.
%%(between middle and top) --> Takes your axe or prompts question 1d.
%%(middle) --> Takes your axe.
%%(a smidge below middle) --> Takes your axe or prompts question 1d.
%%(between middle and bottom) --> Takes your axe.
%%A little (bottom) --> Takes your axe.

3c) Serena: You really think I will give you that? (Range Bar)
%%Yes (top) --> Takes your axe, or prompts question 2d.
%%(between middle and top) --> Returns axe.
%%(middle) --> Takes axe or returns your axe or gives you a Golden Axe.
%%No (bottom) --> Takes your axe.

4c) Serena: So, how bad do you want one? (Range Bar)
%%Super bad! (top) --> Returns your axe or gives you a Silver Axe or Golden Axe.
%%(between middle and top) --> Takes your axe.
%%(middle) --> Prompts question 2d.
%%Meh, whatever. (bottom) --> Takes your axe.

1d) Serena: Maybe I should disqualify myself from goddess hood...
%%Yeah, you're right --> Takes your axe.
%%It's not that bad! --> Prompts question 1e or 1f.

2d) Serena: Did you really think that?
%%Yeah, I did! --> Takes your axe.
%%Maybe not... --> Prompts question 1g.

1e) Serena: Do you think you'll be able to like me more?
%%Yeah! --> Returns axe or takes your axe or prompts 1g (if she already asked 1f) or prompts question 1f.
%%Nah --> Takes your axe.

1f) Serena: You're just trying to make me feel better, aren't you?!
%%C'mon, cheer up! --> Takes your axe or prompts question 1g (or 1e if not already asked).
%%Not Really --> Takes your axe.

1g) Serena: ...Do you want a present?
%%Yes! --> Prompts question 1h.
%%No, thanks. --> Takes your axe.

1h) Serena: Left or right?
%%Left --> Takes your axe or gives you a Silver Axe.
%%Right --> Returns axe or takes your axe or gives you Silver Axe or Golden Axe.

Fun Fact: Serena can also be found in the middle of the City's fountain, although as a statue and not as a real person.

AC:CF Snowman Guide
Made by Titandwedebil
Everyday in the months of January through March, 2 tiny snowballs appear in your town everyday. You're able to roll these snowballs which will result in them getting bigger and bigger. You can also make a snowman, which is the combination of two snowballs on top of each other for a chance at the rare snowman furniture, however, the snowman needs to be perfect, or he wont send you the gift in the mail the next day.

They key is size.

Make the first snowball as BIG as it can get, and once done, find a good spot to put it, this will be where your future snowman will be. (NOTE: Rolling on grass(snow) makes it larger, rolling on dirt of cement will slowly shrink it)

<img src="http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m112/Titandwedebil/RUU_0400.jpg">

For the head, its a little more tricky. Make the snowball slightly smaller than the base, about up to the top of your characters eye. Like so,

<img src="http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m112/Titandwedebil/RUU_0401.jpg">

Now, roll the head onto the body, and voila! If you've created a perfect snowman, he'll say so and in the mail the next day you'll receive one of the following items

Snowman wall
Snowman carpet
Snowman bed
Snowman dresser
Snowman wardrobe
Snowman chair
Snowman sofa
Snowman table
Snowman fridge
Snowman TV
Snowman clock
Snowman lamp
Snowman

If not, try again tommorow until you get it.

<img src="http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m112/Titandwedebil/RUU_0402.jpg">

Good luck!

AC:CF Hybrid Guide
Made by aldericon

Want to make your town pretty with flowers, or simply want to show off that cool new hybrid to your friends? Then you've come to the right place!

Regular Flowers: Just like in real life, flowers must be watered at least once a day. Flowers not watered will wilt the next day, and die if not watered soon. As for weather, rain and snow will automatically water all flowers in town. Note: If you attempt to pick up a wilted flower, it will be destroyed. As well, flowers can also be placed inside your house. Unlike real life, however, they will never wilt or require watering. But be careful! Flowers can be killed if you run over them. Happily, flowers can be also be worn; tulips, Cosmos, Pansies, Jacob's Ladders and Carnations can be worn in your hair, while roses are carried in your mouth.

Hybrids: Hybrids are cross-breeds of two flowers that are of the same type (ex. Tulips, Roses, etc), and follow all the rules of regular flowers. Hybrids aren't that important, unless you like discovering a new type of flower. But some people may be willing to give you quite a lot of bells for one of these rare flowers. Even some bugs are attracted to a certain type of hybrid, so bug collectors might want to put some time into this. As well, they play a big part in creating a Perfect Town

Rafflesia
<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/rafflesia.jpg">
Rafflesia, as shown above, appear when the town started getting weeds, trees in "bad" places, and flowers wilting or completely gone (all which occurs during time traveling as well). You can't dig it up, so the only way to get rid of this annoying plant is to deweed your town. Note: It will only disappear when ALL weeds are gone. Miss one and it won't disappear. Flies can be caught by this too(right over the plant).

To Grow a Hybrid:
First, buy two similar types of flowers (Cosmos, Roses, Tulips, Pansies) from Nook's or a friend. Then, plant them next to each other or diagonally, no spaces separating them. The hybrid will pop up somewhere in the space surrounding the two flowers. A better chance of attaining a hybrid would be to plant a garden of the flowers, since there is a small chance of getting a hybrid in the first place. Next, wait. It may be frustratingly long when it comes to waiting for hybrids, but they're worth the wait. Feel free watering the flowers if you suspect this will create a hybrid faster, although you may want to keep your primary flowers alive in the first place.
Note: Hybrids on the edge of cliffs have the ability to grow a hybrid down the cliff.

When looking for a place to plant flowers, try big open spaces, not covered by trees, houses or signposts (these signposts are where villagers might move in, destroying the flower). Note: This includes the space directly in front of the door.

Different kinds of Hybrids
Hybriding in AC:CF is EXACTLY LIKE hybriding in AC:WW. The AC:WW Hybrid guide is located here. There are only two differences: Gold Roses and Carnations.

Carnations
Carnations are received on two different holidays throughout the year, not by Nook's, which means you can only get one of each kind once a year (without time traveling for them). They come in red, white, and pink.

On Mother's Day, your mother will send you a bag of pink carnations (sells for 500 Bells at Nooks).

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/pinkcarnation.png">

On Father's Day, your dad will send you a bag of red carnations (sells for 500 Bells at Nooks).

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/redcarnation.png">

White carnations (sells for 2000 Bells at Nooks) are only obtained by cross-breeding pink and red carnations.

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/whitecarnation.png">

<img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/redcarnation.png"> + <img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/pinkcarnation.png"> = <img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/whitecarnation.png"> or <img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff34/aldericon/redcarnation.png">

Gold Roses
Gold roses are made from watering wilted black roses with golden watering can. In AC:WW, gold roses did not breed. However, in this game, they do breed.
gold + gold = yellow roses
gold + yellow roses = pink roses and red roses
gold + pink roses = orange roses
gold + purple roses = white roses and red roses
gold + blue roses = red roses
gold + red roses = pink roses

Helpful Hint: If you plant a Jacob's Ladder next to any two flowers that you try to hybrid, you will have a greater chance of getting a hybrid than if the Jacob's Ladder wasn't there.

AC:CF Special Characters Guide
Made by aldericon

Besides your villagers that roam in your town and in the City, there are a number of different characters throughout the game!

Blanca- Randomly Monday - Sunday in your town
Blanca is a cat with no face, who relies on you to draw it back on for him. She only appears if you have WiiConnect24 turned on. You do not receive any special gifts for having Blanca and drawing her face on, but she will not leave, thereby keeping out any other special visitors, until you draw her a new face. If you do, she will travel to another village the next day.

Chip- 2nd/3rd Saturday of eight months (excluding June through September)
Chip is a beaver who hosts the fishing tourney in town. Participation in a tourney requires players to hand Chip a fish, which he then measures. The player or villager that hands him the longest fish during the tourney is the winner. Each of the tourneys has its own trophy which is mailed to the winner and arrives the morning of the day after the tourney.

Don Resetti- 5th Reset; Randomly at Roost
Don is the brother of Resetti, both of them working at the Reset Investigation Bureau.

Dr. Shrunk- Monday - Sunday, 10 AM - 9 PM
Reappearing from AC:WW, Dr. Shrunk is an actor who teaches you emotions at the Marquee in the City. He performs each emotion as a "show", costing 800 bells per show. Each week 4 new emotions are avaliable for you to learn. Here is a list of emotions you can learn from him.

Franklin- Randomly somewhere in town during the Harvest Festival
Franklin is a turkey. Talk to Tortimer first, and he'll teach you a bit of history, and give you a knife and fork. Then hunt down Franklin in your town, and trade the knife and fork for a piece of furniture from the Harvest Series. If you are having trouble locating Franklin, you may give your knife and fork to a villager. They will tell you a 'suspicious character' was seen near a house or landmark.

Frillard- Randomly Monday - Sunday, 10 AM - 9 PM
Frillard is a lizard who takes the place of Dr Shrunk occasionally, to do performances at the Marquee in the City. He can teach emotions which Dr Shrunk can't, as shown here.

Gracie- Randomly at GracieGrace Store
Gracie is a giraffe who owns the GracieGrace store in the City. Occasionally, she'll pop into the shop and give you a helpful fashion tip. If you talk to her while wearing a coordinated outfit, she will give you a 10% discount for that store visit. Fun Fact: In the original Japanese version, Gracie was male. The gender was changed to female when the game was introduced to other countries.

AC:CF Pattern Guide
Made by prshack

AC:CF allows for the new "pro" patterns, but the color palettes have been changed greatly from previous installments. This guide details what the colors are, and how you would go about putting that pattern up on ACC.

First, the numbering system:

<img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/numbering.jpg">

The sixteen palettes:

<table border="1"><tr><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette1.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette2.jpg "width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette3.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td></tr><tr><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette4.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette5.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette6.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td></tr><tr><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette7.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette8.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette9.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td></tr><tr><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette10.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette11.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette12.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td></tr><tr><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette13.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette14.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette15.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td></tr><tr><td></td><td><img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/pallette16.jpg" width="200" height="152"></td><td></td></tr></table>

In addition, AC:CF contains these tools:

<img src="http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/pr5hack/ACC%20Pattern%20Guide/tools.jpg">

If you follow this numbering system when creating patterns for ACC, your patterns should look the same as they do in the game. Remember, "1" in the numbering system I posted refers to the top color in the pattern maker. If you don't want people to go when looking at your pattern, tag it with (AC:CF) or something similar. If you can take screenshots, that should help immensely when you decide to transfer the pattern to ACC. For making pro patterns on ACC, it's just a simple matter of naming the titles appropriately and including front, back and sleeve.
