In the AC:WW Guide, it says all of the gorillas are crankies, so that's what I put them as.

Boone [Baboon, not a Gorilla] is indeed a jock, I've had him in a few towns


I'll never understand why they call the Peppy folks PEPPY, and the Normal types normal.. they are ALL depressed!!! and it's ALL because of the HRA, there should be an option to stop getting mail from them, all I ever hear about is how sad Kitt is because she's no good at decorating.. well Kitt.. quit collecting clothes girl, and get some furniture.

Guessing that the official guide is correct, I'd say Boone is indeed cranky.
(And I went to get my guide and check...)

Besides what you have made of Boone, he is a cranky. I think the easy way to check is in the morning, may it be me.
Check there house, and usually the cranky ones will have some kind of excuse, like, "Wake Me at your own risk..."

And it's possible that you had a strong relationship with Boone that he has a different feeling, more than regular, with you.

Boone is a Jock, 100%, I had him for 2 years.. [after 2 years, trust me, I'd know] he has the complete Jock dialogue.. not cranky at all.

First thing he'd say to me of a morning was.. "Do you know how to build a weird physique?" or "You blew off my training regimine", or "Ready? Rock Paper Scissors?" anyway, I'm not going through all the Jock lingo.. but he's said it all.. he's a Jock, that's just fact.

Thankyou Goldie!! I don't understand why people think he's cranky, I've been playing this game for years, I know it inside and out, and Boone was one of my favourite Jock's besides Drift.

Then why would every game FAQ go with Boone being Cranky. I'm not saying you are liar. It might be pure glitchy accident.

But please don't act like you know the game so well, you can recite the game's dialogue in your sleep. I've been playing the game since the moment it hit stores. And I have Boone 3 or 4 times. He always seemed quite cranky to me.

And no one ever said that this would be member edited, as far as my common sense goes, we should follow the official Nintendo Guide over a player.

Cesar and Peewee are cranky though. Just Boone is a jock.

I'm 45 years old, and I've been playing it forever, it's basically all I do, yeah I know, I need a life.. and I only need a set of eye's and common sense to know what type my neighbour I spent 2 years with is, and also had him in several other towns. and to answer your question Sam, the FAQ's are mistaken. and you should follow players experiences, rather than guides, guides have a lot of mis-information, after all, we are playing the game hehe, and nothing beats experience right?
