AC:WW Golden Tools Guide

The Golden Tools from AC:GC have made a return! Unfortunately, some aren't obtained the same way, and there are even more items you can get golden as well. This guide is here to help!

Axe

When Pascal visits, give him the Scallop and he'll give you the Golden Axe. The Golden Axe is unbreakable. To obtain the Scallop:

%%%1) Wait until Sunday and find Joan.
%%%2) Buy a red turnip seed from her (costs 1,000 bells).
%%%3) Plant it and water it 2 or 3 times a day (morning, noon and night).
%%%4) When Wendall comes to town, fig up the turnip and give it to him.
%%%5) He will give you a turban or a (special) country guitar.
%%%%A) If you give the guitar to K.K. Slider on Saturday after he sings a song, you get a picture of him.
%%%%B) If you get the turban, give it to Saharah the next time she comes to town.
%%%%%1a) Sahara will give you either a (special) Red vase or a massage chair.
%%%%%%a) Give the massage chair to Tortimer (when he shows up on a holiday) and you'll receive the scallop.
%%%%%%%1aa) Give the scallop to Pascal for a golden axe or picture.
%%%%%%b) Give the Red vase to Crazy Redd and you'll receive a safe.
%%%%%%%1aa) Give the safe to Nook for his picture.

Net

Catch every type of bug in the game. Tortimer will award you with the Net the next day in the mail. The Golden Net is twice as big as the normal net, allowing players to catch bugs more easily.

Fishing Pole

Catch every type of fish in the game. Tortimer will award you the Pole the next day in the mail. The Golden Rod has a luring effect, making it easier to catch fish.

Shovel

Bury one shovel in the ground. Remember where you buried it; a tree sprout will not appear. Wait 24 hours, and come back the next day and dig it up; it should be golden. The Golden Shovel allows players to plant Bells (money) and grow them into Money Trees. Money Trees have a chance to bear money bags as fruit, tripling the amount planted.

Slingshot

Shoot down 15 items out of the sky. The 15th item will be the Golden Slingshot that you shoot down. The Golden Slingshot fires three pellets at once, which spread out once they reach the upper screen of the DS, making it much easier to shoot things down.

Watering Can

Keep your town perfect for 16 days. Note: You can check the status of your town by going to Pelly or Phyllis in the Town Hall and choosing "Environment". Essentially, they'll be the one that awards you with the Golden Watering Can when your town has been perfect for 16 days straight. The Golden Can allows players to turn withered Black Roses into Golden Roses.
