Is there some trick to catching one of these?  I have caught Tuna,Char,Stringfish, Football Fish, Red Snapper, Cherry Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Goldfish, Koi, and all the rest.  I have one fish that is about the same shape in the water as the Dab, Snapper, Olive Flounder,  that I have not been able to catch.  I tried all the tricks I know, fast set, slow set, etc, nothing has worked.  I know the book says catch them when it is snowing or raining, but there has got to be a trick. Help an old man at the sea.

To Zeldafox: The page you posted was for Animal Crossing: Wild World, not GameCube.

Scroll down to Coelacanth fishing, and you will find a very detailed guide on how to catch them. It is extremely helpful!
