i also know that he appears in the s.e. corner of town by the beach. i had just got my gold rod and was going fishing when it said, "Hey you, over there! come closer!" i thought it was a talking fish

Yeah, he appeared in my town on the Southeast corner of my town too! But I didn't have any lamp and I couldn't find it.

Well, I found wisp last night, on my path, and went inside my house to get the lamp I found a week or so ago. So then I talked to him put him in it, and 1 minute later, I found another empty lamp.

Then I put them both in my house in case my town or a friends town get's over run with weeds.
