Hello everyone, after seeing all the questions about Wisp, I thought that I could make a guide for him!

Finding the lamp

Randomly, and sort of rarely, you will find a lamp on the ground. It looks like a Genie lamp. You may wonder. "Hey.. whats this for?" Well, actually it can be really valuable.

Finding Wisp

Now for some reason you may feel like taking a stroll from 6pm-12am. If you do, then you got the right idea on how to find Wisp. You can find him 6pm-12am. So walk around town a bit and then you might here a whisper like.. "Come closer." If you do, don't be shocked. You walk around that area and.... YOU FOUND WISP!!!!!!!!!!! If you do, he looks like a ghost. Now, he will ask you to find a lamp. (If you did not find the lamp and wisp appeared the lamp is in your town somewhere but this is rarely the case.) So if you have yours. Then you are very lucky. Just talk to him again and he will be very happy. He will tell you to go into your attic. But before you go you look at your inventory and will notice that your 'empty lamp' turned into a 'magic lamp'.

The rewards.

So your at your attic.. you go to inventory and rub the lamp. BOOM!! Out comes wisp. Then he will say thanks and that stuff then ask for what you want. The options are:

Weed (De weeds your town.)

Smash Roaches (Destroys all roaches in house)

Give me stuff! (Gives you a certain item.

Meh. I'm good. (Correction by Hermelin. Wisp goes inside his lamp and you get to save the wish for later.)

If you pick item.. here are the category's:

Furniture!

A hat!

An accessory

Clothes!

None of it.

And he will give you one of them.

How many times have you found wisp?

I havent found him once(Ill try to use this guide as help) and I want to know if its very rare to find him or I have bad luck.

It is very rare. Or it can be just luck.

Great guide. It became really useful. There is just one problem you can start finding Wisp at 8pm not 6pm.

Ah, I thought it was 6pm because I saw him around that time.

Does Wisp appear for only one player?

I think HoppyFrood means does it only appear on one file.
The answer is whoever has the lamp will find wisp. The lamp could appear on any file.

I have like,3 lamps but I cant find Wisp.

Is it true if you but all hat but the crown you'll get the crown off wisp if you choose hat

That hat is random.

Three lamps.. It might be because you need to use them on the night you got them.

Is any of this affected by time traveling?

I found wisp's lamp in my town like a month ago at around 10AM.
I still have the lamp and I have not seen wisp, it's been a month since i found the lamp.
Does he always come the same day you find the lamp or is it random?

^^ No, I don't think so.

I think that you have to use it on that day. But I am not certain.

In addition.

I think the night you get the lamp is the night you must use it.

well lets say, that you want him to deweed, does he do it right away, or does it take effect the morning after?

I thought he appeared after 8pm, not 6pm

He deweeds right away.

And I am pretty sure it is 6pm not 8pm.

i got a wisp lamp from someone else and told him to deweed and he said he would, but he didn't, i wonder what happend, i thought it would happen the following day, but i guess not...

It's not fair! i've never had wisp!
