Animal Crossing Community: The Official ACC Pattern Contest

Thanks to the community for participating in the contest over the past 14 months!

This is just space to get the title in the middle!Welcome to ACC's OFFICIAL Pattern Contest!

This is a monthly contest run by staff and SIC members of ACC. The original run of the contest was back in 2006 by Shadow_in_Arizona.

Each contest will run the full length of a calendar month, the 1st through 11:59 p.m. of the last day of the month. No submissions for a contest will be allowed outside its month. There may be a delay on the posting of a new contest, and the winners may not be always announced at the same time as the new contest.

As we do not want to see "how do I link" posts all over the thread, remember to make a link, use [link=PATTERN URL GOES HERE] Pattern Title [/link].

There are also a few basic rules to be followed in the contest:

Don't Use Anicro
This is a strictly freehand contest. Use of Anicro isn't very original. If a pattern is questionable, it's at the discretion of the judges.

Use YOUR Pattern
Copying other's patterns will disqualify you, and possibly get you in trouble with staff.

Follow The Theme
While you may be creative, it's no use to make a pattern that does not relate to the theme. We won't choose it as a winning one.

One Pattern Per Person
You may only enter once per contest, and only one contest, so more people have a fair shot at winning.

Play Nice!
No hateful comments about another pattern, and no fighting, as a pointless fight went on for an entire page in the last thread. Any discretion is handled by the judges.

Finally... this month's contest! To save you from searching the entire thread, this part of the post should be updated monthly.

Fruity Orchard
What do apples, peaches, cherries, pears, and oranges (okay—and coconuts!) all have in common? Don’t hurt your brain thinking about this one… It’s Animal Crossing!

Do you remember when you first started off in a new town how you made your first few thousand of bells? Were you the one who planted your fruit orchard in a perfect grid, or haphazardly position them about your town? Ah, fruit, selling at 100 or 500 bells each...

So make a pattern that involves these fruit. You can focus on just one of them, or include a mix, however you see fit. The last day for entries is March 31st.
