My new Pc works with anicro btw. Forgot to say so. I think you might be having a OS compatibilty problem...maybe. Im now using XP home edition. I WAS using ME. The new pc is a big difference. Anyways I can anicro now. So JoshuaJSlone its not a browser incompatibility. I checked. What could it be?

Joshua? I have a question. What VB editor did you use to make AnicroDesparo? I would look at that freevbcode website but, to me, it is like an ancient labyrinth. If you would be so kind to give me a tip on a cheap or rather preferrably free editor that would be much apprecited. If you have a good one then maybe you can ship me the source code and I can help you develop the program some more...after we develop a trust of each other Basically I just need an editor. The source code thing was more or less off-topic. Anyway, any good editors? Maybe I can make my own AnicroDesparo j/k

yay! i got it! I have a question. Can i use it as a pattern maker(like the acc patern maker), or does it just copy things?

THat is my use of it, drawing freehand patterns in it...so, yes, you can use it to create images in like the ACC pattern maker.

When you open it up, just click on one of the white (or other colors?) boxes and it will open up a blank field, just like the ACC pattern maker. From there, you can choose Single, Line, or Fill, and the color you wish to use...choose by clicking the radio button beside it (radio buttons are the little circles). Also, you can choose a different template(set of colors) from that window...

how do i save it?

I forgot how to do that...here, let me look. But if I cant find it, theres always the "send to ACC" button...and that will save it onto ACC, and u could edit it from there.

When in the Design view box, to save it, just double click the little icon view of it in the bottom righthand corner...then, in the main Anicro box, xlixk the "show ACS form" and there it is....i think you can figure it out from there.

JVAGO: I basically used "Visual Basic 5 Control Creation Edition", a several years out-of-date version of VB that Microsoft made available on their site for free. It doesn't come with help files or the ability to actually compile things to EXE, but other than that it seems full featured. When I'd come to the point of wanting to release a version I'd find someone with a full version of Visual Basic and have them compile it for me.

Thank you. I couldn't find the free version. Joshua......there are many free compilers on the internet for VB. Seems we have each end of the rope here. You have the beggining and I have the end. Thanks for the tip and hopefully you can find a free compiler. They are everywhere. Just search.

I had this before on a different computer, yet that I download it here, at this time, there's something wrong with the links. Even the site is down.

FYI for Himmy011991, Lovio, and future users:
The original site is having trouble at the moment. For some reason the host cannot carry the file. Until future notice the only way I could get a copy was to e-mail joshua. I do have a more current copy though. If it is okay with joshua I will e-mail you the copy he e-mailed me. It is not changed in 1 bit. If you can't get it to send to ACC we probaply don't know why. To put it in a small file for later use just go to the place where you send it to acc but press the smaller version of it in the bottom right. I hope this helps. I used to have the Anicro Desapro thing but my computer got wiped because of viruses and now I can't find any working links to download it from.

I try downloadin it and I click on the June 23, 2003 Version link and I get a screen that says error 400: Bad Request. What does that mean and how do I fix it so I can install the program? Please help! Is this happening to everyone?

Thanks Billy for hosting the file at least for some time, and thanks JVAGO for offering an alternate way to get the program while I'm gone. I've also been replying to a few emails asking for the program. If anyone has another place to host it, feel free. Until then I guess the best way to get it is just to keep asking me at joshuajamesslone@gmail.com or ask anyone else here who you know has a copy and trust won't try to send you a virus or something.
