First of all, Anicro Desapro means Animal Crossing Design Aid Program. It turns any(I'm not sure)picture into an AC Pattern!
Secondly, Anicro doesn't need to be paid for. You have to download it.

I want to download it really bad, but my stupid dad won't let me. He said a bunch of stuff about our computer getting viruses, and other junk, and I never down load anything, and this is the only thing I REALLY want to download, and I'm mad now.
Signature-------------- My brain doesn't think of......stuff. So.....NO SIG FOR YOU! (Wait, I just made a sig. D'oh!)
Lobo, get the latest version. (dates should show, i can't remember what date it is to get... common sense should tell) And you do know how to download things, right? I can't understand your first question.

Are you talking about Anicro or AC Pattern Designer? Either way, yeah, just copy and paste the URL to download it. There are some differences in setup, though.
Anicro ----------------- You need to have an program to extract the files to a folder(WinZip is good for this). Once that's done run AnicroDesapro.exe (there may be more to the name depending on what release you got, but it's the only other file aside from test.acs).
AC Pattern Designer (AC PaD) ---------------------------- Assuming you have Windows Installer just run what you download and follow the instructions. You can then access it on the start menu.
As for versions, get the newest version of Anicro and there's only version of AC PaD available. I hope that helps you .

I still can't figure out how to save a design. When I try to save it it creates a file but there is nothing in it so it won't load. If someone could help me out that would be great. Thanks
EDIT: Never mind. Re-read more closely and have figured it out.
Indeed. It appears Bravepages/0catch has purged all ZIP files from the account. A bit of a bummer, but not a surprising development on the free web space front.
If anyone can recommend a less restrictive free web space program that would be cool. Or if anyone(s) would be willing to host the file themselves, that would work too. I'm not really sure how often Anicro Desapro is downloaded, but given that it hasn't been updated in over a year and the people most likely to be interested probably already have it, I bet a 44 kilobyte ZIP file won't bring many servers to their knees.
In the short term I can email it to people if they toss a PT with the necessary details my way.
