I have a question... I don't get the ACS form. How do I put the patterns I create into it? And how do you save them so they can be printed? I know you can print it somehow... why else is there a printer-friendly version
Yeah, it's not very obvious, is it? That's one of those things I figured I'd clean up in newer versions, but that hasn't happened in a looong time.
To put a picture in the ACS form, double-click on the small version of the image in the "Design View" window. This will add the image to the list in the "ACS Form", with a boring random name something like "temp 3 3 8 7 8". From there you can rename it, rearrange the images in the list, and so on.
There's also no print within the program; something I've still never done with Visual Basic. The Printer Friendly option was basically made for people to hit Print Screen, paste it in some image program of their choice, and print from there.
sonic01864: " People actually need a guide to figure how to use it...... Now I remember why I never come to these boards." Har har, mister. I never made a help file proper, and the program doesn't always explain itself (particularly in the case of the ACS files), so rather than throw people in the water to learn to swim, I made an early guide. And never having made a proper one, it's stuck around for Q&A.
Madworld13: " I click on the dog's head but it comes up that they can't find the file!" Did it bring up a window to let you choose a file? Or did it not even do that. Maybe you right-clicked (which would normally paste an image from the clipboard to the program) without having an image in the clipboard? I don't have the program with me right now, but it seems like that might cause such a message.
Oh I figured out to use it a while back, but thank you for responding anyway! I have some nice patterns to show for it too, including myself and the cast of The Princess Bride!
Where do I extract it? I downloaded it but the WinRAR thing came up and I don't know what to do next.

Whenever i try to open Anicro Desapro nothing happens. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

That's only if you use the Anicro process. Anicro does have am edit mode. Just click or double-click (can't remember which) on one of pattern images to get into that mode.
