Yeah. Sorry if there was any confusion. The Save Our Grass petition is the same petition that is attached to the YouTube video and written and created by Mammamia19/GAMEsiphon. The Animal Tracks petition was written and created by KuroTori. So, yes, there are only two petitions. But there might be more petitions out there that were created by non-ACC member AC fans. Hopefully, we're not the only 2 petitions going right now. The more petitions there are the better. If Nintendo finally realizes that the grass wear feature has upset thousands of AC fans, then maybe they'll actually fix the grass wear problem.
Long story short, there are only 2 petitions.

I'm worried that nintendo might take the petitions seriously tho because as I was looking over it I realized that u can pretty much sign it multiple times (so they might think it was just five ppl signing thousands of times!!)
I thought that you could only sign a petition once. That's why they ask for an email address, right? So, no, I'm pretty sure that they will take it seriously. But if we don't get several thousands of signatures, then Nintendo will probably just say it was only a small percentage of the AC fans who got upset and Nintendo won't do anything about it.

The first 4 or 5 posts on page 1 of this thread is the guide.
And you don't vote. You have to sign the petition. When you click on the link and the petition comes up, just click where it says 'Sign the Petition' and a new page will come up and you just put your name or whatever name you want to put if you want to be anonymous, and put your email address and you can leave a comment if you want, but the comment is optional, and choose your email privacy option, and then just click 'Preview Signature' and if you're satisfied with the signature then click 'Approve Signature' and your signature will be added to the petition.
I guess you're right, if somebody wanted to they could sign a bunch of different times under different names with different fake email addresses.
Well, hopefully, that isn't happening. If it is, then I guess somebody should use a petition website that doesn't have that problem and make a new petition for the grass wear problem.
Way to go, everyone! We're almost at 2000 signatures on the Save Our Grass petition. The links to the petitions can be found at the bottom of page 6, if you want to sign the petition. Please only sign each petition once.
Thank you to everyone who has signed the petitions so far.

Wow, this is one FANTASTIC guide! thank you very much for sharing!
I wish I knew about this wear when I started playing a few weeks ago... at least I do still have considerable amount snow left in my town and I can take precautions from now on. I ran almost everywhere i went lol! I was wondering why all my registered friends didnt want running in their town... so I am going to have to implement that rule.
thanks again. mathland appreciates it

Using the AC Clock to TT will affect the game in the following ways:
-Joan will say that she has no red turnip seeds. -The price of turnips will never be higher than 96 Bells. -Joan will never sell turnips for less than 96 Bells. -TTing backward in time using either method will spoil White Turnips whether or not they're on a table.
So, if you want to TT, it's best to change the Wii Clock and not the AC Clock. Also, this way you don't have to resynchronize the clocks.
You can resynchronize the clocks by setting the clock by the bed in the attic to the same time as the Wii Clock.
Does that help?

i had a quck question as well. Its winter in my town. and rather than grass disappearing I have snow disappearing. Does the snow reaccumulate after if snows in my town?
Also does following the advice for grass growing help regain snow? or does grass regrow where there was once snow?
thanks for the help!

Thanks for the TT tips. We have given up on turnips as my son cannot stop TT. We have been playing since Christmas as a family of four and reloading the game sometimes 8 times a day. We now live in a desert in the dead of winter. I have starting the regrowing process and have a much success. I can only do it for about an hour a night and do it for the month of June. I have seen a great improvement. My husband resets the date to actual for his play time. Should I keep repeating June 1 - June 30? Or, can you only gain the growth for a date once?

Snow is just grass in the winter In other words where you have snow in the winter, you will have grass in the summer. Or if you have no snow in the winter, then you will have no grass in the summer
Rain or snow have no effect on the wear or regrowth rate. The only way to regain snow / grass is to follow this guide and others (summary: don't run; tried to limit # of times the game is played a day; plant flowers and trees and then leave the area alone unless the flowers wilt - and even then your common areas might never come back).
so just to clarify, snow can be regenerated by using the same techniques as grass growing?

I don't TT but from what I have read there is no real difference between trying to regrow snow and regrow grass (except that as Sunmarsh pointed out the regrowth rate increases and wear rate decreases during the summer - which is why some people have TTd to June to begin the regrowth process (while the rest of us plant flowers every day and tip-toe through our towns).)
mrbaconsock: If you walk on the flowers (at least in winter) the amount worn away by one step is roughly equal to the amount regrown in one day, so there shouldn't be any growth. The current condition of the grass is maintained. However, it's possible that the grass could regrow despite walking through flowers during the summer months?
mac_hine: In winter, the snow (white areas) are the grass. Whatever snow you have at the end of winter becomes green grass in spring. Everything in my guide that refers to "grass" is applicable to snow, since, I consider them the same thing. So far as I know, snow falling will not add snow (aka grass) to the ground.
