In this thread, I will be discussing various facets about my town. My villagers, landscaping, recent happenings, fishing, etc. It won't be a daily account, but when I can find some interesting things, I'll post about them here.
I'll also be adding pictures from my town and possibly even some videos. It will depend on if I can get a good recording from my camera.
So, stay tuned for The Dopor Diaries, and if you enjoy them, get out and play your Animal Crossing game! It misses you.

Awesome pictures! The one with Whinnie made me laugh. They always act so casual even though you haven't seen them for, well, in your case, over a year! Hugh's house seems normal compared to most others... I mean, in my town, Puddles has a ring of kitchen appliances in the middle of her house and such, with a toilet smack bang almost in the middle of them. Love the picture of your character with the fish in the background! So cool! ^_^ Arr, you have Rowan on your island? I wish I either had him or Boomer... at least someone good anyway. I've always hated the AC gorillas, and who do I get when I go to the island? Yodel, the stupid gorilla!

That Whinnie one was really funny. Hugh has a nice house, actually. In my towm, Lily has loads of frog chairs and a fridge. I really like that picture with the fish tank behind your character, too. It's cool.
I'm glad you guys liked the pictures. The funny thing about the Winnie one is that I think I've gone an even longer time than that without talking to a character. Maybe I'll find one of those.
Rowan's a pretty good islander, but I was hoping for a different one myself. But he is pretty cool; I like his hat.

It's 2:32 PM and time for a new entry in The Dopor Diaries!
First off, let's clear out some more of those "I haven't seen you since...." pictures. I took a trip to the island, as I mentioned earlier, and this is what Rowan had to say to me. Apparently I need to take vacations more often. I came back with my new tan and headed for the Wishing Well. On my way, I ran into Kody and he sure did seem surprised to see me! Maybe he thought I'd been on vacation. Then Patty stopped to talk to me. She couldn't bare to show her face, as she hid beneath her umbrella.
But enough of that I thought! I wanted to visit two of my favorite civil servants, Copper & Booker. I headed toward the Police Station and stopped to admire the flying fish. May is a great month. As I entered the station, the Town Tune stopped me in my tracks, so I had to record that great jingle. (If any of you want that for your town, check out my ACC town and you can find it there.)
I entered the Police Station and noticed some posters on the wall, so I stopped to take a gander at them. Grammar apparently wasn't their first priority in the making of this poster, but it did instill me with a sense of purpose. Purpose to do what, you ask? Why, to catch these despicable characters!
I inquired of Booker how I could join the force, but he was focused on other things. Maybe I'll ask another day when he isn't so preoccupied.
I had spent enough time with the police, so I headed out to find what other adventures awaited me. But as I was leaving, a gleam in the earth caught my eye. Could it be? Yes! It was a Golden Spot! I hurriedly grabbed my shovel and sunk it into the fertile soil. Eureka!. A whole 1,000 bells! Maybe I'll invest it in the Stalk Market and see where that gets me. I didn't have much time for daydreaming, however, because Copper was looking at me suspiciously. I didn't want to get in a legal pickle, so I hightailed it out of there!
Stay tuned for more entries, and if you have any suggestions, shoot me a PT sometime. Thanks for reading!

Patty must've been waiting a rather long time then...
Haha, this picture, the one on the right... it looks kinda like Blathers in a way to me.
Great diary. I loved reading it.

Well, it's May 8th at 6:18 PM, so it's time for another entry in The Dopor Diaries!
Today, I'd like to relate a story to you of fish and pigs. I also have a mystery for you all!
First off, I found a couple of interesting posts on my Bulletin Board in my town the other day. Here is entry 3 on my board. July 31st, 2007? Wow, it has been a long time. Then, oddly enough, here is the following entry. Apparently nothing happened between those two dates.
So after looking at that particular bit of zaniness, I decided to head down to my best friend Hugh's house.
On the way, I saw the shadow of a very small fish in the water, so I decided to cast my lot (and my rod) in the water to see what I could get. Shortly after I cast, I got a bite! What kind of fish could this be? Well how about that? It was a guppy! I haven't caught one of those in a while, what luck! I couldn't bear to give it to Tom Nook though. I know he's a raccoon and would love to fry this baby up. So, I followed the Golden Rule and put it back in its proper environment. I'd like to think it'd do the same for me.
Of course, that didn't stop me from selling this crayfish later that day.
So on to Hugh's house I traveled, and finally made it after an arduous hike. I talked with my blue buddy for a while, and he noticed I was carrying a certain piece of furniture in my pockets. He begged me to give it to him, so I obliged. How could I let down my best friend? In return, he gave me a neat item and told me an....interesting story. Apparently, Hugh's uncle means a lot to him. He must have visited Hugh while I was on hiatus, because I sure didn't see any other pigs around. But from what I hear, he's a pretty masculine fellow. Of course, I also hear that he's quite eccentric as well. Maybe it's best that I didn't end up meeting him, eh?
Now, on to the mystery! What item did Hugh give me, you ask? Well, that's for you to figure out! Remember, this is AC:GC. But I would be remiss not to give you a hint, considering how many items are in AC:GC. So, here you go:
The item is a furniture item. It's not part of a main 10-item series. It should be a little nostalgic for a few of you.
And that's all you get. I hope you enjoyed today's entry, and I'll be waiting for all your guesses!
By the way, if any of you know any great free file hosting sites (like an online database thing) where I can store my stuff, that'd be great if you'd let me know about them!
