I think that, so long as there are parents that have video game systems for their children, and their catalog includes AC, and the newer systems have another version of AC.... ACC will be around for a long time. I'm not sure who or where the circles are that can afford all these gaming systems (my hats off to you if you're among them), but where I travel, we have "yesterday's" systems which means yesterday's games. So yes. ACC has "Staying Power". From where I sit, at least.
I wright. Therefore. I am.
I agree. And AC is so popular, I wouldn't be surprised if there will be one created after AC:Wii. As long as AC stays even mildly interesting, ACC will stay alive. Most of us come here to socialize, or "come home" to something familiar every once and a while (me! ), anyway, so I think ACC will definitely be around for quite some time yet.

I've got to admit, I feel exactly the same way as Mitch35 because ACC is the only place where I feel I can say what I mean and what I want to without getting yelled back at or ignored. I am a member of more than just a forum. We all share one love making us all the same but with so many different opinions we are different yet the same so we are perfect to be friends.

Nintendo makes another AC every generation. Meaning every 5 years or so we'll get another huge batch of members, such as AC:WW. ACC will die when there's no love for the series and Nintendo stops making them or when the server is taken down. I can't see any of those happening soon.
And yes, I'll get all sloppy too. ACC has been a large part of my life for the last 4 and some more years. It's the first website I go on everyday (sept for Google, but that's my homepage ) and I've met some brilliant people here over the years. Although lots have left there's still lots that have stayed and there's some brilliants new members I met while the AC:WW boom was still going. ACC is a site based around a friendly game, so it's bound to be the friendliest place on the internet.
If I had a penny for everytime somebody PT'd me about my signature
I'd have 48p...
I am attached to ACC also. It helped me mature and think things out a lot more diffrently to. Which is good. I dont think ACC will die any time soon either. I kinda forgot what I did before ACC. There is so many great people on this site.
I don't care what standards society has . . .
because to me you're perfect.
It seems quite common to become attached to a site such as this. The pleasant colors of green and blue that dominate the skin of the boards relax us, the people here are lighthearted (for the most part), and the family-friendliness is a nice escape from the more "mature" side of the world.
I remember long ago I was completely addicted to the site. It was back when RPGs were allowed. I've come along way since then, and I do get a bit upset that not all of my old pals are on anymore.
Overall, though, ACC's going to be around for a good long while- believe it!
Since my last visit to ACC, I've become adept at Python and C++.
I have a goal to become a master at many languages.
