I actually read an entire walkthrough someone wrote about going to the moon with Gulliver. Wasn't sure if it was true or not. Nobody here has said anything about it. But it went into all kinds of details about the trees and what not. Funny!

I shot him down like... I dunno, about 3 times. But once, I got about 3 of his pieces, saved, and then next day he was gone, and 3 pieces were still in my pocket... I was worried they would be stuck there forever, but fortunately, Nook offered to take them off my hands *phew*

ive been playing ACWW for a while now and i would get so mad because i couldnt shoot down gulliver. so now everytime i log on i hang out at the top of my town for about 30 mins waiting to see if he comes. well two nights ago he did and i shot him down. i just thought this might help (:

No, he comes at the first time after you start your game on the day he is going to come when the time ends with a 2 or a 7. Look here for his "pattern".

Here's the VERY SIMPLE way how to collect the UFO-pieces...
1. When you start your game for the FIRST time that day Check the time (the NEXT minute that ends with the number 2 or 7 is the time when Gulliver comes IF he comes e.g. 13:47). When your game loads, the game predetermines wether or not Gulliver will fly in the sky that day and also sets the start time and calculates Gullivers visiting accordingly. THAT IS WHY you can always reset if you miss him but u have to go back in time for the cruical minutes.
2. IF you have any special characters in your town, Gulliver will not come!!! So don't bother looking into the sky if there are others there.
3. Booker WILL NOT say anything about Gulliver. So that's no indicator (except if Booker says there is someone in your town, obviously you know Gulliver will not come that day)
3. Disable the mysterious cat, so at least there is a few days more when it is possible for Gulliver to come!!! If the figgin cat's there Gulliver will not come.
4. If you have your gate open Gulliver will not come!
5. If Resetti came, u may have missed the time when Gulliver would've come (just se above, ok, and check your time). If you didn't miss the possible time, YOU STILL MUST go into a building and exit or else no special character will be there (including Gulliver, surprise)!
6. Hang out in the NORTHERN parts of town or else your slingshot won't reach the flying saucer.
