GULLIVER'S UFO: Random Weekday (Mon-Fri) 6AM-12PM
In Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Gamecube, Gulliver (after Swift's Gulliver's Travels) would wash up once a week on the shore of your village. If you spoke to him, he would reward you with a knick-knack he had acquired in his travels. As in the prior game, Gulliver gives away exclusive items. This time, however, he's graduated from a small time sailor to an astronaut. Speak to Booker to find out what days Gulliver's been sighted. If Booker says that Gulliver has been sighted recently, during the day you will sometimes see a UFO fly through the top screen of your Nintendo DS (On minutes ending in : x4). Gulliver is in this UFO, and if you shoot him down fast enough with a slingshot (we recommend that you be close to the top of the village to do so successfully) he will send you out on a quest to retrieve parts for his spaceship. If you help Gulliver out, he will reward you with a number of artifacts.
Nintendo Power listed an inventory of the items Gulliver gave out in their Official Guide to Animal Crossing: Wild World, but notably left out one item internet users found very quickly. Gulliver can give out an unlisted Metroid (from the Metroid games) which is part of a four-piece Nintendo set. For a full listing of Gulliver items, consult the chart below:

His appearances are totally random, and I only shot him down once and I had the Golden Slingshot. Even then, I just barely got him. Heres what happens: You shoot him down, and the screen says something like, "an unidentified flying object has landed in (your town)" then you find his ship, talk to him until he wakes up, go find five gear shaped things in your town and give it to him. Sorry if I spoiled it for you Anyway all he gave me was an arc de triumphe and it's not that great
A UFO flew by the aft in my town, and I was wondering what the point of it was? Now I have my answer! However, how come it says from 6 AM to 12 PM, Monday to Friday and the UFO flew by between 3.30 & 4 PM? Anyway, I didn't have time to shoot it down as I was too far away...Even with the golden slingshot! I will keep my eyes open for when it passes by again!
I haven't seen Gulliver on ACWW yet, but he is pretty common on the GC version.
Gulliver can come between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.. He always comes, if he's going to come that day, on the first xx: x7 or xx: x2 after you start up your game. Booker will say nothing about him. Pete always comes 2 days every week, and Redd comes once a week. You can only have 1 special visitor each day, besides Resetti, Blanca, and K.K. Slider. This means that, besides the weekly visitors, two special visitors can come each week.

I have only shot him down 2 times and he never gave me the plate armor I was looking for. I got it on WiFi though. I gots nice friends.

my sis shot him down a long time ago but she couldnt find all the parts of the space ship I hope he comes in my town if he does wish me luck on finding those parts

When I shot him down ONCE, he gave me a Tribal Mask. What does the Manekin Pis do, anyway? Lots of people have mentioned him.

i have all the items from him, it's so much easier with the golden slingshot aswell.
Willing to sell any (or all) of these items to people just post in my discussion about my discount store. But personaly I wouldn't nuy them as it's fun to try get them yourself. But up to you.

This morning, at 6:27 a.m., Gulliver flew over my town. I missed him, so I reset my game, set the clock to yesterday, loaded my game, dealt with Resetti, save and quit my game, set the time to 6:08 a.m. today, loaded my game, and shot him down at 6:17 a.m.. For some reason he did not appear at 6:12 a.m., probably because he originally appeared on xx: x7. After I gave him all of his ship parts, he gave me the chocolates.
