Well, when I was kid I have no clue what I want to be until in my teens I wanted to be actor, after my sister has shown she really wants to be actress. Appearantly I've been said I'm rather excellent with people filming me, but since I don't act well and after I learn I liked to do woodwork & that my best mate's dad is joiner, and since I love wooden stuff and make stuff, I went as joiner..until I found out it's bit hard with my hand condition so I kinda stopped dreaming of being joiner. At the one time I wanted to be wrestler. LOL.
Nowdays, I have no clue what I want to be..although I may have a job that resembles computers (IT, HTML, etc) and I also like helping out people. Maybe that sort, I guess.

i was all over the place. I must have wanted to be so many things.
I remember at one point I was really into wanting to be involved in Radio, either on air or behind the scenes, same goes for film really. I wanted to be one of the behind the scenes guys, as I had no interest in being an actor. A few sports I played I was interested in, and thought I may have wanted to do that full time. The one that i was really into was Badminton, and like Seven, I also wanted to be a wrestler.
As I got older, my interests where more computer oriented, and I would love to do something like that now. As many of you probably seen, I have my own site which I work on, and take great care in. I would love to do something like that. Build Websites for people.

I was one of those people that really had no idea. Seriously, I never took a very major area of interest, although for a small time I wanted to be a pianist/singer. But, I remember that when I was a kid, at times I wanted to be a lawyer, just like my dad was. Lately, a career on something related to computers, such as websites and stuff. (Kinda weird many of us in here have been thinking about that!)
As to right now, I still don't have a major area of interest. If it wasn't for my parents, I'd focus on a musical job of any sort.
When I was really young I was fascinated by buses and trains. I used to love it when I went with my mom to her job in Center City Philadelphia. We'd usually take the train. I thought it was so amazing that the train started outside and ended up underground. So from that I wanted to be a train conductor.
As I got more into school, I thought I wanted to be a lawyer. But then someone told me that would involve a lot of reading and I wasn't very keen on reading a whole lot of thick books.
My interest in science really blossomed in late elementary and middle school. From then on I wanted to be a medical doctor. My highschool and college careers were pointed in that direction. But by my senior year in college, I was just so burnt out and stressed that I just wanted to be done with school. Trying to study for the MCATs just wasn't happening while I was in college so I graduated, moved back to my home town and started working in a research laboratory. I can say I really don't want to do research for the rest of my life (at least the kind of research I'm doing now) but I really don't know what to do with my career other than stay in the science field. But whatever the future entails, I think going back for a higher degree is in my game plan.

When I was really little, I remember wanting to be a nurse because that's what my mom did, and at one point I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Several years later that had changed, and I wanted to make video games. When I realized you needed math skillz for that (and I suck at math), I decided to be a writer because I'm pretty good at that. That's stuck so far.

I thought that a Marine Biologist sounded like an appealing job. I was really fascinated by Marine animals, like fish, seals, sharks, etc., so I thought it be cool to study more about them. I still think it'd be a fun job, but since then, my ideas have somewhat changed, so it's not my main priority.
I thought a musician would be a cool carrer also. I play the piano and saxophone, and I thought (and still do) it's be a fun carrer to be able to play them for other people. However, I'd be a bit apprehensive playing for large crouds, so I might have had to make some adjustments, first.

For a small time I wanted to be a teacher, but as I grew older, I noticed how much work my mom (at the time an elementary school teacher) had to do, and decided against that.
Marine biology was also a keen interst. I really love marine mammals, and thought that would be a great area of study. Anyone that's ever been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California knows how awesome it can be. If you've never been, I suggest going here. It has live webcams of the major exhibits.
But right now, my main goal is to become a published author. And by that I mean books. I've not interested in journalism, thankyouverymuch. Other options would be chief editor for a book publishing firm, or a screenwriter. I also think it would be really fun to incorporate my knowledge of Shakespeare by helping out acting companies to understand the context of the works. And yes, that is a real job.

I always wanted to make video games as a kid...considering I spent so much time playing them.
Once I was in middle/high school, I tossed around the idea of being a teacher also (a math teacher) but I had to do a 50 hour graduation project to well...graduate. I chose to tutor students in math and found that it was more frustrating than rewarding for me, so I finally decided to major in engineering and see where that takes me.
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a ballerina, like, as a professional dancer, then become a ballet teacher. But now I'm not so sure. I love ballet, but I don't think I'd want it to be my job.
Now I have no idea what I want to be. I once thought about being an artist/stay at home mom like my mom is. I'm pretty sure in college I want to do art.

When I was little I wanted to be a scientist, then a teacher, and then a million other things.
I'd really like to get into Med school, at hopefully be a doctor or a physician. I'd also like to get into writing, since it comes pretty easily to me and I'd enjoy it as an occupation. Also, I'd like to be a professional actor or performer, but I doubt that would work and I'd like to have a steady income.
From the time I was a little kid, I wanted to be a teacher. I changed my mind about the grade and subject several times before settling on Music, but I don't really remember considering any other form of employment. When I retire, I want to open a coffee shop though.
A detective. But then I found out that if I was investigating a murder I would be around dead people and didn't think I could handle it. So I changed it to actress and now I do that!

Like many others, there were many different career choices I toyed with growing up. When we lived in PA, we lived on a farm and we had a horse (no cow) and some chickens, ducks and turkeys. When we moved to NJ, I missed the horse so much I could only dream of owning one again and riding them in competition. This dream stuck with me to my senior year, when the financial reality steam rolled over the equestrian school I looked to attending.
I also had dreams of becoming a veternarian's assistant. If you didn't know, I have a strong love for animals and have owned many dogs growing up. It was when I had to let the dogs go that I realized I wished I could help them ease the pain and make them all better. The realization that steam rolled that dream? My fear of pain and all things medically related.
Because of my love of writing, I briefly entertained visions of working for a newspaper. But then I realized that journalists report fact not fiction. I didn't like the idea of my writing being so absolute, so I never did visit the huge conglomerate in Jersey.
But the one thing that stuck with me the most is what I once said to my Daddy. "I wish I was big like you." That dream hasn't died and I work on that one every day.

Let me see... I have a whole bunch that I wanted to be, a few of which still interest me.
When I was little, for some reason I wanted to be a Bus Driver. I have no idea why, but I don't want to do it anymore. Funny thing is, I turn 18 next month and I don't even have my permit.
Now to the jobs that still interest me:
Meteorologist. One of the local news stations here has one of the best meteorologists I've seen. He's been there for close to 15 years I believe, and he's unlike any other meteorologist I've ever seen. Most TV stations make all the crew dress up, but not this one. He doesn't like wearing a shirt, tie, and dress jacket, so they let him wear pretty much whatever he wants (Like lime green on April Fool's Day), and it has carried over to some of the other meteorological staff. That's why I want to be a meteorologist. Probably won't be my first job though.
Entomologist. For those who don't know what that means, it means insect scientist. When I was in tenth grade I signed up for the Entomology competition in the local Science Olympiad competition, and even though I did horribly, it gave me a really big interest in bugs (I tried again the next year, but still to no avail. Maybe the 3rd one will be the lucky charm). I am also doing my senior project on insects, which will be in my profile at some point as it is a website.
Math teacher. This is my current profession that I am shooting at. It's one of the ones that I've had on the back burner for most of my life, but after the past few years of math with probably my two favourite teachers I definitely want to be a math teacher. Funny thing is is that the two teachers that affected me are both getting up there in years...

As I was growing up, it depended on which month you asked, lol. I went through almost all the possible careers. I started off wanting to be a teacher when I was in preschool, then to a doctor, police officer, then an animal doctor (that I can't spell), then a zoo keeper, then the first female president (until I started to learn about politics, lol), then to astronaut, then a computer programmer, a robot programmer, and at one time a professional cook. So you can see, I never really decided until the past few years (after I turned 25) did I really decide I wanted to teach high school math.

Ever since I was about 7 or 8 I had wanted to be a children's author. Now that I have moved on from childhood I have extended it to more like anything to do with English. I've had moments when I've wanted to be an artist, famous actress and the like but my really strong dream has always been centered around creative writing.

I had never really given much thought to my profession as a kid. The only thing I remember wanting to be is an Archaeologist. I was really into dinosaurs as a kid. Now, I'm stuck on Architecture, which I plan to major in in college.
