I also love to read, but I have krazykay's problem... I can't put books down! My favorites are fantasy/ science fiction. Some author's I've read that I enjoy are:

I finally joined a book club to get me out of my "niche" and the book for this month was The Glass House and I read it in on day!

I am currently reading Eragon (after I 'borrowed' it from my brother's room). I have read *deep breath*: Harry Potter series, Eragon Series, Immortals Series, Nancy Drew Series, Tintin Series (comic books), Dragon Ball Z Series (comic books), Charlie Brown Series (comic books), Narnia Series, and various other books that I can't remember but have in my book shelf (like Elle Enchanted.)

^ I love the Eragon series! Hm, it seems Laura and I like several of the same series. I like the Harry Potter series, the Inheritance (Eragon) series, the Wolf Brother series, the Vampire Academy Novels and of course the infamous Twilight Saga!
I quite like romcom kind of books, though I do like a bit of action or mystery too. (I have the same taste in films.) Paranormal romance's are my favourite... preferly with vampires.

My favourite type of feeling is when you are in the middle of a very good book or series and cannot take your nose out of the book until it is finished. I enjoy to read, but only occasionally as I find that most books bore me a couple of pages in and I don't feel the urge to pick the book up and read it again.
Being the obsessed person I am, I like books that are in series. I love the Twilight Saga but have never been a fan of Harry Potter (besides the 4th film).
I used to love the Princess Diaries series as well as Meg Cabots other books like "All American Girl". Louise Rennison's books are also a great read in my opinion. Chick flicks with romances are my favourite type of book to read. I'm not a fan of sad books as they just make me depressed.
Currently, I don't really read much besides fan-fiction, which I read almost daily. However, recently I really enjoyed reading "The Girls" by Lori Lansens and "What About Me?" by Katie Figes.

Aside from my monthly subscriptions of Nintendo Power, Game Informer, and Shonen Jump, I don't do too much reading. I've always enjoyed a suspenseful mystery though, if I've got the time to read. My favorite books would probably be From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz, Animal Farm by George Orwell, The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane, and the Bone series of comic-like books by Jeff Smith.
