My all-time favorite game would have to be Roller Coaster Tycoon. I don't know how many hours I've spent playing that game. I've had it for a few years now and I still play it occasionally.

My all-time favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Even though this game is now 10 years old, I still find myself picking it back up to play over and over again. 3-D took the Zelda series to a whole new level. The puzzles were amazing, the mini-games addicting, awesome sound, and a thrilling story, it had it all. I've gone through this game more times than I can count, whether it be casually for fun, searching for the Triforce (sooo many rumors on how to get it, and it was never found. ), skipping as many things as possible, or for a marathon session where I beat the game from start to finish in one night. I have this game on the N64 but also downloaded it on the Wii because I can't get enough of this game.

Well, I'm not really able to choose one specific game, so I'll name a few:

I really enjoy the Pokemon series, and I have almost all of the games from that series. I enjoy the Gold/Silver/Crystal series the most, and I'd probably say Crystal was my favorite.

I also like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, but I haven't played it for awhile, and I never got very far because I was so young when my brother's got it. I did spend quite awhile watching them play it, and even though I'm sure it would've been so much more fun to play, I still got a kick out of watching them. I plan to get a Wii soon (my brother's already have one), and we have a Game Cube disk with it on there, so I'll probably start to play it then.

I guess I'll be the first to mention Animal Crossing. I've spent countless hours playing the AC series, both Game Cube and DS versions. I haven't played in awhile, because the interest has somewhat gone away. However, I expect to get the interest in the series back once AC:Wii comes out.

One more series: Super Smash Bros. I love the 64 version and Melee, and I can't wait to get Brawl. The stages look amazing (Animal Crossing stage! ), and the music I've heard sounds great also!

Did I say enough?

First of all, what a totally unfair question!

Well, Animal Crossing is one of my favorites, possible my most favorite, but there are games that are better for different reason. I've been playing the Pokemon games since the start, but I mostly play the handheld versions.

I also love Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. They are probably my favorite games, since, in my opinion, they are RPG perfection.

I've also spent my hours playing The Legend of Zelda games, but my favorite is probably Seaons/Ages.

While I absolutely love the Zelda and Pokemon series, I would have to say that Super Smash Bros. Melee is my all-time favorite game. It never seems to get old. I'm hoping that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will become my new favorite game; it looks great!

My all-time favorite game would have to be Paper Mario on the N64. I loved how Mario and everything around him was literally paper thin, and I enjoyed the plot and gameplay in general. I have so many happy memories of my friend and I playing the game for hours on end until we finally beat the game. XD

Some of my other favorites include Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and Zelda games. :]]

My Favorite game would probably have to be the Madden Series. It provides so much fun, and endless replay value, and also the fact that I love football.

Other then that I'd have to say the GTA games were fun too.

I'm going to be terribly unoriginal in saying that Ocarina of Time is my all-time favorite game ever, but it's true. I was first introduced to this game when my friend bought it, and I would constantly go over to his house to watch him play (yes, just watch). The size of the world, the level of detail given to everything, and the totally epic story just blew me away. It was unlike any other game I'd ever played (or watched someone else play). When I finally played it for myself, I realized it was even better, and I had this huge sense of accomplishment when I finally beat it. I still play it from time to time, and while I've done the 3-heart challenge twice successfully and found nearly everything in the game, it never gets old.

Even though it's not my favorite, it would be cruel of me not to mention Tales of Symphonia as coming in a very close second. I bought this game literally on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. It has a story that drew me in like a good book and an amazingly fun battle system for an RPG. I've played it so much I have a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of the game world and story.

Another repetitive choice..Legend of Zeldacarina of Time. I bought an N64 and the game by chance about 9 years ago. I played it completely spoiler free, and it took me about 3 months of casual playing to finish it. I got so caught up in the story and solving the puzzles. I still remember the excitement and anticipation in certain parts.

Tales of Symphonia is one of the best RPGs for the GameCube. I'm on my 6th playthrough, and I still love the game.

The Pokemon franchise and Dragon Warrior/Dragon Warrior Monsters are my favorites on the handheld systems.

I also enjoy playing the card game Hearts and Scrabble with real people in real life.

Well.. not to ound a little too weird here.. but my favorite game would have to be Animal Crossing for the Game Cube. It was my first game -- and still my favorite. It was so addicting, and still is.. somewhat. But it was the first game that I played and didn't grow sick of soon after.

I'm just going to continue the trend and say that my favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. However, I don't think this is a staff fluke. I'm in agreement with Nintendo Power that this is the best game ever.

It was my first serious video game, and I know it's made me into the gamer I am today. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but when I first played that game, I could not make the connection between a spider web blocking a door and a torch. Now when I play Zelda, especially Twilight Princess, those things are more like a reflex now. That's what I find disappointing about the newest Zelda games, is that they borrow too much from the gameplay of the older games, making them seem like an extended version instead of a seperate game.

The story of OOT is also amazing. I'm writing a novel that focuses around that plot. It's far from the standard princess-in-the-castle story. There's a mythology about it that makes it real to the player.

As a musician, I also enjoy the game. Koji Kondo has done an amazing job with the Zelda series, particularly this game. I was sorely disappointed with TPs music. OOT has so much original music with just a hint of music borrowed from the few games that came before it to make it truly a Zelda experience.

If I could be summed up in a videogame, it would be Ocarina of Time.

Oh my tough one.

I won't be following the trend here. While OoT is a great game, probably one of the best, it is not on top of my favourite list. i have a few candidates, Tetris, Super Mario World, the Mario Kart games, and Mario 64.

I love the Mario Kart games, and they are a blast in multiplayer. Mario Kart DS is my favourite out of them all. Super Mario World and Mario 64 are easily my favourite Mario games, SMW for its great achievement at being probably the best 2D platformer going, and SM64, for the same but in 3D.

Now onto Tetris. This is one of those games that will never get old, never go away, and will still be here when the Vogons come in their spaceships. It is possibly the simplest idea ever, 7 different shaped blocks, one playing area, clear the falling blocks by making lines, repeat until area is full. Yet it's so addictive, this is the game that made the GameBoy the success that it was. It spawned so many variations that you'd need a mathematician to count them all. I can go back and play this game after not playing for ages with no trouble. It's that easy.

Tetris is my all time favourite game.

This is a tough one. My favorite game of all time would have to be an RPG since that is my favorite genre. Looking back it would have to be Dragon Warrior on the NES. It was my first real RPG and by real I mean it was more than text or blocks (Adventure on Atari 2600) on the screen. The characters, story, gameplay, sounds, music, all of it was very memorable and VERY enjoyable. This was probably my second or third NES game ever and I still own it.

When I look to today's games, my favorite is without a doubt "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" (Xbox 360). I have never played a more complete and well-rounded RPG in my life. This game has it ALL! Huge back-story and history, customizable characters, user-created spells and potions, beautiful background music, in-game houses that you own, the ability to mix and match skillsets, interesting NPCs, tons of side quests, large and interesting outdoor areas, dark and dank underground caves, open-ended non-linear gameplay and an engaging main questline. By far the best of the best when it comes to modern RPGs.

I have a top and a very close to top game.

My absolute favorite of all time would be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've been a devout Nintendo fan since the days of the NES system. And while most people flocked to the Playstation, I stuck it out with the Nintendo 64. Ocarina of Time was the first game that truly, truly brought me into the story. The graphics for the time were amazing, the gameplay so ingenius, the fun factor was off the scale. And it was challenging. It was challenging enough not to be too hard and definitely was not easy. The changing of night to day brought an interesting dynamic to the gameplay. I almost teared up at the end because the story was so good. And I still hum the music from time to time. Totally engaging experience.

My other top game, which on some gaming mag lists was rated the best game of all time, would be Super Metroid from the SNES system. Man, what a challenging game this was for me. Even though we were still in the 2-D era of gaming, this game world was huge. It was massive for the time period. And it was quite creepy. It was always a bit scary to find that elevator that leads deeper and deeper into the world, where the enemies get tougher and tougher. The boss battles were intense. And th amount of exploration and the shear number of energy pack and missle expansions to find was sweet. I felt like I really accomplished something grand when I finally beat the game.

It is hard to choose one favorite game...

Of course, where would we all be without Animal Crossing for Game Cube? I played the Game Cube version way longer then the DS version, it's just so... fun. Even though I haven't played it in a while, it's still on my top favorite games list.

Another game I became addicted to is Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I also love the Pokemon games! Pokemon Ruby and Pearl are my favorites, I have almost 300 hours of playing time on Ruby!

I completely agree that this is a toughie.

Well, obviously Animal Crossing GC version. I wouldn't be here if I didn't love that game... First months were so addicting and full of surprises.

As some already mentioned, the Pokemon games too. All time favorite from those was Sapphire (my first one). There was so much to explore in it. I spent some 200 hours on that one.

Recently I became pretty much addicted to World of Warcraft. With chatting online with other people and online gameplay, it's an amazing game. Unfortunately.. Too addicting at times.

But really, IMO Mario games have always been the best. From Super Mario World 2 (my first GameBoy Pocket game, also first game ever played) to Super Paper Mario for Wii, it has always been my favorite out of all.

I have to pick one? D:

Whilel OoT is quite awesome, but I have to agree with Smash Bros. going on top of my list. I can't think of any other game thats spent more time on my TV. If someone asked me to play, I'd basically play it no matter the situation.

Is it Dec. 3rd yet...

Not counting the Animal Crossing games (I started with the GameCube one like so many others reading this), I've enjoyed all of the different Pokemon games.

At first I didn't like the idea of battling the little creatures, but after watching the anime the battling didn't seem as bad to me. My first Pokemon game was Yellow which came with the GBC I bought (it was Pokemon themed Yellow GBC). Since my brother was already playing one of the original versions, I instantly had someone to trade with so "catching them all" was at least possible. Since this was the only game I'd planned to play with this system (other than what I would borrow from my brother) I had debated about buying a GBC until I saw that yellow one in the store.

From there, I picked up the next games (Gold & Silver) as well as adding on the Pikachu2 pedometer which would work with the GBA's infra-red capability to get you get mystery gifts by sending "Volts" into your copy of Gold, Silver, and eventually Crystal. After 2 battery changes, just under 2,500 days and well over 14 million steps later, I still carry that silly pedometer around.

In addition to playing all of the GBA versions of the games as well as the N64, GameCube and DS games, I'm still playing a Pokemon game of some sort. Currently that's Pokemon Diamond & Pearl and will soon be Battle Revolution (I have my copy already, I just need to find time to play it).

I have also passed on a little of the Pokemon fever. Currently I am loaning my copy of Pokemon Trozei to my mom (who now owns her very own Pink DS Lite - which means I get to have my original silver DS back ).

Nooooooooo! Must I pick one? I have too many favourites.

Ok, it's going to be Bubble Bobble. Good old retro game with a very simple idea but fiendishly difficult levels. It originally came out in the arcades but versions appeared for most consoles of the day (Atari, Commodore, etc.). I managed to pick up a version of that and Rainbow Islands for the PS1. I get it out occassionally for some retro gaming fun.

I honestly have to say my favorite game has to be Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. Seriously, this game kept me interested for about two years, even if I was only playing for five to ten minutes some of those days that’s a lot of replay value. Now how many games can do that? With other games I usually play them for a month or two then I put them on my shelf to play at a later time.

Wow, that's a really hard question. I'll have to cop-out break it down into subjects:

All-Time Favorite Childhood Game: Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES. Left my NES on for days!

All-Time Favorite Co-Op Game: Donkey Kong Country 2. Me and my sister put HOURS into this series, and particularily this game.

All-Time Favorite Adulthood Game: Grand Theft Auto III. I got this when I bought my PS2. Me and my significant other had loads of fun working together to finish the missions. He did driving, I did sniper.

Oh, who am I kidding

All-Time Favorite Game: Hands down it's Animal Crossing for DS or GC.

This is a very tough question. I will pick one, but I must mention a few others.

My all-time favorite would have to be Super Mario Kart for SNES. I put so many hours into this game during college w/ my room mates and floor mates, it's not funny. It resulted in probably an average drop of 0.5 or more GPA -- no kidding -- during the two semesters we played it most. It has many fond memories for me, and is by far the best Mario Kart game ever -- and for me, gets my top vote of all-time favorite.

Honorable mentions...

I have to put Starcraft on the list, because I've also put countless hours into this game. And I still go back to it on occasion. It's the perfect RTS, and while I highly anticipate the arrival of Starcraft 2 (which is still years off, I'm sure), I'm not expected it to live up to the first, as it's going to be very hard to beat that.

I also have to mention Tetris. This game is the staple puzzle game, and I have spent much of my life playing some form of Tetris, especially on the go. I also find myself playing this game in my sleep (as many have, I'm sure).

With my favorite genre being RPGs, I have to mention Final Fantasy 7, which is definitely my favorite RPG. This game is all around great: great story, gameplay, music, and (at the time) graphics. I know this is known by many as their favorite (but is also hated by many just because of its popularity), but I have to follow the crowd on this one.

I'm with everyone else, this is a very tough question. I can't choose just one . Alright, in no particular order, here are my favorite games:

Animal Crossing: Wild World
Sims 2 (with all the expansion packs )
Rollar Coaster Tycoon 3
Simcity 4
Age of Mythology
Harvest Moon DS
All the Zelda games
Super Mario Sunshine

As you can tell, I really enjoy simulation based games as well as a few adventure games. I haven't had much time to play any of my games this summer, but come fall I will be getting back into playing some of my games.
