How do I trade with a person (I'm giving them furniture and they're giving me a card) but their card don't have a code on it?

When you trade e-cards you actually mail the cards to eachother. That is why most people only trade cards for other cards.

Well, if you mean how do they send the furniture if they don't really own it, the code wouldn't have worked if they don't really own the item, samurai. How the password looks is completely depended on who's it from and who goes to, samurai. Plus, a password in a trade can't even be sent if the person doesn't even own the piece in the first place, if that's question you meant, samurai

Otherwise, if that's not what you meant and you meant how do you know your tradee got your item ( Sre, no offense, but I have a hard time deciphering your message ^^;;;; )
Then if you asked someting else, you know they got they're furniture in the trade when they click the "password confirm" button, and let you know it worked.

Well, you don't.    Anyone could just put every item in their inventory, but if someone tried to trade with them and asked for something they didn't really have, they wouldn't be able to do the trade. There really is no point in putting things in your inventory you don't have since it's mainly used for trading.

You go to "My Profile" in the "My ACC" section. Then you go down to the bottom of your profile and click "Edit Profile." After that you just change "Stop allowing trades to me after I have
reached this number of unsettled trades:" to "Allow all trades," "50," "25," "10," or "5."

Anyways, you yourself could still make trades can't you? That just prevents people from sending trades to you. But you could still make your own trades.

Yes that is correct. Blocking all trades only blocks incoming trades.

I haven't tried trading yet but I know the codes to "Say" to Tom Nook are fairly long, like around 30 characters in length.

If I send an item to someone in another town using Tom Nook, I know he gives me a code to give to that person so they can enter the code and receive the item...but what if they enter the code exactly as I've given it to them and it still doesn't work?

Can I ask Tom to repeat a code to me to verify that I copied it down correctly? I mean several days later, can I go back to Tom and get him to "Tell" me the code again?

You can, but you'll just have to repeat the enitre process again, that's all. You'll probably have to re-order the item they want, get it out to Nook's, re-type your trader's info, then take a look at the passcode. When all else fails, you're gonna have to check and double check your partner's info. For example, I didn't know I had this space in front of my name, and it messed up my first three trades

This is my first day on ACC and I love it. I have already made a lot of trades It's great. But when I make a trade, I have to always send 2 trades, one with stuff I want and one with stuff they want. Ex. I look at their wish list and send them a trade of what I want to trade them, then I look at their inventory and see what I want. I make 2 trades. It's annoying and kinda confusing, is their a way I can make one trade with everything I want and everything they want. Would be so much easier.

Well first, when you see what stuff you wanna send them, go ahead and pick them out. After you pick them out though, before clicking on offer trade, click on a button down below saying "go to user's inventory" or something like that.

E.I. If you're giving item, it'll say go to user's inventory. If your taking an item from the person, it'll say go to user's wish list

Anyways, when you press the button down below after what you've already done, you'll see the corresponding choices in items

E.I. Now you'll be either giving an item when you've already taken, or vice versa

Once you have both sides set up, you can now click Offer trade! I was in the same boat too until I realized this!

just set it up to be one way. When you set up the trade, don't select anything to receive in return, just select your item to give, but don't select anything to take
