Welcome to the Patterns Board! Talk about patterns, make requests, compliment or critique. The usual rules apply, so no flaming.

Pattern content guidelines: Basically, keep it in good taste for all ages. If you can imagine someone getting upset upon seeing it, it's probably not a good idea. Freehand or rip, pretty much anything goes. No, Anicro Desapro is not considered cheating. Patterns that truly waste everyone's time, though, things like randomly placed dots of a single color, or a poorly drawn circle, will be deleted. If you really have a blast making those, don't publish them.

Pattern name guidelines: Don't put anything like "Vote a 10!" or "Get me in the top 10!" in your patterns' title. If you do it will either be renamed or deleted. Likewise, be sure to give your patterns an actual name; don't leave it as "Enter Your Pattern Name Here". Finally, just be decent with them. If you think we wouldn't want it on the boards, we don't want it in a pattern name either. If we see a spelling error, we may correct it.

Pattern copying: If you input a pattern you got from another source, please give credit in the pattern's name. If you think someone copied one of their patterns from you or someone else without giving credit, please use the "Report a Problem" button. Give some sort of links so we can compare them. If it's pretty clear, the pattern will either be renamed or transferred to someone else's account. However, with some patterns (particularly sprite rips), it's not always clear that any copying has gone on, in which case we basically have to accept a person's word for it.

If there is a problem with any pattern, or if you need to have one renamed or deleted, please hit the "Report A Problem" button from that specific pattern page and let us know what is needed. Please be as specific as possible in explaining your problem, and we will do our best to resolve the situation.
