I had someone visit my town and she began cutting down my trees, so I powered off, came online, and left a bad rating, explaining that she had cut down trees.

In return, she left me a rating saying I dug holes everywhere in her town, when I hadn't even visited her town!

Since that's the only rating I have, I look like a poor player to others.  No one wants to be friends with someone who supposedly digs holes everywhere!

Is there anything that can be done about this unfair rating?  I don't see any buttons where I can contact a mod about it, and I'm getting really frustrated because it is so unfair!

Try reporting that person to the mods using the "Report a Problem" button.

Otherwise theres not much anyone can do except give that person a bad rating, sorry

There is no way for us to prove what actually happened over wifi and ACC is not responsible for what happens off-site. For this reason, we do not remove ratings in most cases. The only time a rating will be removed is if there is concrete proof on ACC that it was a false rating. Comments on the other hand are removed if they break the Site Rules.

If you have to leave a negative rating for someone next time I would just remove them from "my friend codes" immediately after giving them the rating. That way they wont be able to leave you a bad rating in retaliation.

Yeah! I gave sum1 a bad rating cuz they cussed on my BB, and I removed them IMMEDIATELY!!! Boy, was he p.o.ed...

Don't worry about the holes thing... its not a big deal, since you didn't do it and apprently the other person doesn't realize that holes don't save. They disappear.
