The dangerous thing about hotels is that people can sneak out when you're sleeping, steal, destroy the town and then leave.

But I think I figured out a way to stop that!

Just have the town owner talk to Copper, and just leave it like that! Then, the guest can't leave with destroying the town!

This information really helped me. Also, once a boy in my neighborhood (in real life) came over. I let him play my DS and he chopped down a bunch of my trees.

thats why i alwas be near my freands when they play my games i don't want them to mess it up.

This is great, I wish I would have seen this a few months ago before I was seeded by the Night Ninjas. For all of you who think they don't exist, they do. The people that seeded me are banned thankfully due to my efforts. Now that I experienced them no one else has to.

Hi matt_running. I don't know if knowing the horrible details is really necessary. We know troublemakers exist here, as well as in our real lives. The good news is that in real life there are things we can do to protect ourselves and same here.

The_Duchess, I'm sorry you had to go through that. But thank you for doing what you were supposed to and you are right, you saved many from getting hurt.

Things are going to happen, here, in life, etc., and that is, well, just life. But it is nice to know there are things we can do. It might not always work all the time, but most of the time it will, and most of the time you will have good experiences with people, especially the people you get to know and become friends with. Then you can do crazy stuff together like having fishing contests and chase each other (walk, don't run through flowers) and bang each other with a net.

My son and I do it and it's fun. And that's what the game was intended to be for -- to have fun. And those who find their "fun" in destruction are afraid, insecure, and hurting inside, making taking out their pain on us.

But we won't let them get us down. We'll start again, and there are so many wonderful people and giveaways who will do that, and make new friends, learn to know them better, etc., and have fun.

But I can't fish. I still can't figure out when the dumb fish bites.

Yes it does. A lot of us get very upset when things happen to people's towns. My son plays a lot and I hear stories from him. It brings out the mother cub in me. I have two towns and I work hard on them. It would not only hurt me a lot if something was damaged but I would be angry. I'm glad that the information gives us a lot of things we can do to protect ourselves.

Well, I guess that is the best protection yet. I only open to people I am very good friends with.

Beloved i like your guide and all but it's really bad for hackers. And i'm talking about the good ones. If your town got seeded then naturally you won't want to have anything to do with hackers and so you don't wifi with them. You might even go and make a thread telling what happened to u so everyone doesn't want to wifi with hackers. That of course leaves us in a sticky situation. Noby to play with and all alone with people giving you bad rankings and avoiding you. This thread may or may not do that. That doesn't meen I don't like ur thread though! I loved it but all i'm saying is that it might end up.. well making our wifi not fun. I once had someone refuse to wifi with me just because im a hacker. It makes me so sad. My main messege is:
DON'T HATE AL HACKERS CAUSE NOT ALL OF THEM ARE BAD!

kia7100, my son is a hacker, or was until our AR broke. If you read the beginning of the thread, you'll see that no one said all hackers were bad. Hacked objects can't hurt your town, it's the other ones that can. Although I will tell you that I am now in the process of moving my stuff to another town because my AR ruined my town and I have to destroy it and start again.

None of us can put anyone in a box. Some hackers are good, some aren't. Some AR don't hurt anything, some do. Some "regular" people are nice, some aren't. Bottom line is getting to know people by becoming involved in the site and if, need be, visting their town.

I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression. I really am. And I know Chibipluto did not put everything together to cause division, but to help people make wise choices, give them options, knowledge, and ways to enjoy ACC better. Some of the nicest people on this thread helped me start my town by paying my mortgage and giving me the furniture sets I need. I got to know them and took a chance. They are great.
